Chapter 31

Cailean was still wandering around the cave, following the sounds of the bats that they make inside, thinking that if she goes to just follow them, she will find the very center of the cave and have her exit.

She was walking slowly until she heard a grunt and sounds of pain coming from behind. There was the only person who was with her from the beginning.

Alpha Conri.

She turned around quickly, trying to trace her steps back until she reached him and guided him to standing.

"Alpha, Alpha Conri," Cailean called him a few times, tapping his broad shoulders and arms randomly until she found his hand and guided him on standing up, "What is wrong with you? Are you all right?"

She was waiting for a reply when a soft whisper came to her ear.
