Alpha Conri went back to his castle after a long day at work; he and Beta Farkas attended three more meetings and a briefing from the council about the coronation of his that will happen in the next three weeks. They needed someone to make the kingdom comfortable and safe after the sudden attack on them a few days ago and costing King Lloyd his life.
While walking down the aisle towards the door, the Alpha thought about his rival, Alpha Adolphus. It has been days since the attack, and it seemed strange that he has not made any move just yet. He gritted his teeth and furrowed his eyebrow thinking of his face that night.
Just what are you planning to do, he thought to himself.
When he heaved a sigh of relief, there was a loud voice called to him. He stopped walking and turned around, seeing Leikos from afar carrying a lifeless body. He squinted his eyes and was surprised at who he was being brought inside their castle.
