12. Trusting one another

They both woke up cuddling one another. Renee looked at him and slowly pulled away realizing her life is about to change. She then decided she needs to trust someone with her curse.

Seth stayed in bed and slowly went back to sleep.

Renee went to her basement and fetched her whistle that was hidden. She sighed softly and made her way upstairs. She didn't see Seth sleeping. Instead, he jumped from behind and picked her up. She then head-butted him and elbowed his stomach.

Seth groaned and kneeled down. "What the heck. Is that how you say Good Morning" he lightly chuckled. Slowly standing.

"You cant jump out and scare me.. you don't know how many times I have been taken, weakened... " she lightly chuckled.

"Well I am sorry my mate.." he kissed her cheek.

"I.. I have something for you.." Renee showed him her whistleblower. It was lightly shining. It was made out of bones, but you couldn't tell. It just look like an old oval sphere that was painted grey or white.

"Is that the thing who controls you?.." he asked

"Yes.. if this is blown, I will not have control.. pray it does not fall into the wrong hands. I will not have control over myself. If I resist it.. I bleed internally, my nose bleeds, my ears ring as if I cant hear anything. My body will lightly burn up" Renee sighed and handed it to him. He held it.

"Thank you... I will protect this and you with my life." He hugged her and slowly set it down.

"I promise you I will never control you, unless.. don't hate me for saying this but unless I have to. It will be for your safety" he explained.

Renee scoffs and slowly nods understanding.

"I suppose... but I guess.. anyways if you do use that, on me, you better have a good reason, otherwise I will kill you" Renee stated and Seth smiled.

"Im counting on it" He smiled

He then got dressed and told Renee to get dress. She got dressed into a suit and loaded with weapons.

"Do you ever travel without your weapons. Not everyday is a fight" he laughed.

Soon the ground shook. Renee looked out and saw a dragon land and she looked at him. "Yes it is" she glared her eyes turning red.

"Huntress Renee, I need your help"
