If she thought he was taking it too far, she would let him know about it in a way that would make him seriously hesitate to do it in the future. Brushing his lips against hers, he asked, "Is it so bad that I just want to spend time with you?" 

"That's not going to work, Dominic. Especially since I know that this isn't only about you wanting the pleasure of my company." 

"Okay, I'll rephrase. Is it so bad that I just want to spend time with you and have you in my sight at all times?"
