"Iris?" Cane called his name as softly as he could, though he was fighting back the urge to move inside of her. He couldn't step back now, there was no way for him to not go through with this, he would be doomed if Iris asked him to stop, but still, he determined to stop if that was what she wanted. 

Tears trickled down from the corner of her eyes and Cane kissed them.
