267 An Ending Dream

A dream. When Victoria woke up that morning, she just left a dream wherein she was living her last few days in the Cosmic Castle with her older brother, the only one that remained. She would look into the mirror—like every other morning—to take a look at her aged face and wonder if Virgil would be able to recognize her as his sister.

She had long known that Darius and Nicholai were great people in their own ways, but certain matters were indeed too great for them to grasp.

However, that morning, Guinn had even slithered inside her room and woke her up before the sun had risen. Victoria didn't even make out the words that came out of their mother's mouth until a few seconds later. What was that she said?

"Let's go now. Virgil should be waking up soon."
