107 Chapter 107: Epilogue

“Are you sure you know what you are doing?” Fyn asked Burger as he paced around the small dog.

Burger gave Fyn a snort that Fyn took to mean he needed to stop asking.

“I’m just saying… Rita and Wayne will be down next week, and I want to have an agreement on this before Rita gets here. She made it damned clear that she expected us to have a huge wedding. Before we can have a wedding, I need to get this proposal over with,” Fyn told the dog.

Burger rolled his eyes and gave another snort... Pointing the sound directly at Fyn and his babbling.

“I know, I know. I just want it perfect for Rowan,” Fyn said with a sigh.

Burger walked up to Fyn and nudged him with his head. Fyn sat down on the bench in front of the house and scratched behind Burger’s ears. Rowan would be back from her trip into the woods to check on Momma bear any time, and Fyn wanted to be ready.

His heart was pounding so loudly that he almost didn’t hear Burger’s warning bark that Rowan was on her way home.
