"It will be cool to do that out here." Noah chuckled and stroked her cheeks playfully.

Becky adjusted to let him slide his hand under her head to hold her face closer to his. Noah planted a wet kiss on her neck and she felt his hand make it into her gown.

Her body tingled slightly as she ached herself upwards. With his right hand, he cupped the soft part of her chest. He allowed his left hand to dangle through her hair while his right hand remained on her warm beating, tingling chest. Then, rub… squeeze...

"Ouch. That's a perfect squeeze." Becky giggled as she felt her nipples pop upwards and she gasped for a long air.

Noah chuckled and lowered his hand slowly under her gown towards her thighs. There, he rubbed it teasingly making her chuckle loudly.

"You like it?"

"Yes, I love it." She giggled again. Noah continued to play with her thighs moving his fingers towards her ass. Becky felt a loving sensation that knotted her stomach and just then, Noah's finger froze at a point.

"Go on, do it. You're making me wait" She spread her legs wider to allow him to caress her womanhood.

"Don't you think it's getting cold out here? We have stayed here till evening." Noah asked unnecessarily to make her yawn for his touch.

"Not when you're here. It's definitely warm and safe."

Becky's jaw dropped and she stared angrily at him, but suddenly he poked his finger on her woman leaving her to gasp for another long air.

So caught with surprise, she almost screamed, "You silly head!" She scattered his hair playfully making him laugh his heart out.

"You're crazy!" She was so engrossed by this romantic feeling that sent a warm feeling of love all through her body.

"This is one of the things that makes me love you."

"I love you more, more than you know it." He whispered back.

She grabbed his neck, lowered him and placed a kiss on his sensitive part. With the sweet tears in her eyes, she kissed him one more time. Noah moaned softly.

So overpowered by all of the feelings she got, she suddenly blurted out of nowhere and without thinking, "Marry me, Noah."

Noah was stunned into silence for a moment, he hadn't expected this to come. As much as he loved Becky, he didn't have plans for marriage with her now. If he had known that his confession would trigger this, he would have kept burying his feelings, which was still wrong.

Noah tried to gather himself from the strike of the question, but his voice which came out shaky betrayed and exposed his beating heart as he said, "B—Becky I..."

'NO!!!' Lux screamed out of nowhere.

'Lux, what are you doing? Come back to me.'

'Noah, the time has come for me to finally leave your body and return to my real owner. Thank you for keeping me safe all these years.' Lux responded.

'What do you mean by your real owner? What are you talking about?'

'I am not your wolf Noah, but of one who was born a human and the time has come for me to return to her. Now that the bond has finally broken, if I allow things to continue this way and allow you to marry Becky, you and I and the woman you raped will perish.'

'Why do you keep emphasizing that woman? Is it to remind me how much I acted unruly towards her? Remember her father hurt me too.'

'No Noah, that woman has a strong connection in your life and you're only meant to know about this time.'

'What connection are you talking about? I don't understand you, Lux.'

'Alright, Noah. I will explain a little to you and the rest would be left for your memory to find them. 100 years ago before you were born in the modern era, you had a mate called Angeline. Angeline was a weak woman yet she did so many things that shocked the eyes of her predictors.

When in danger, she protected you Noah to the point of sacrificing herself for you. You pleaded with the moon goddess and the seven elders, for them to grant you mercies and return her to you as your mate in your second life to set things right, which happened to be now in this modern era.'

'If what you are saying is true, how come you're telling me about this now?'

'As I said before Noah, and as written in the book of prophecy, this must be kept from you and off the eyes of others except the seven elders of the Oracle until this year when all will be fulfilled and the bond broken.'

'What bond is that?'

'Joseline is this woman called Angeline in your previous life.

In your previous life Noah, Angeline sort the moon goddess and seven elders of the Oracle to grant her more powers to be able to save you when your enemies sort to besiege your pack. For her to be granted these powers, the moon goddess made it clear to her that the consequences of these powers would be that in her modern era, she would be born as a human, where her life would be filled with pains and miseries.

Her wolf which is me would be taken from her and be put in you as the mark of the special bond you two had with each other. Hence, for her wolf not to perish you must protect her until the prophecy is fulfilled. That's why you kept protecting me, keeping me safe from the eyes of others who may sort my life.

Also, you two would be separated in the modern era and only meet in the third month of her 22nd year.

Now, despite all odds Noah, and Angeline accepted this fate and curse just to make sure you would be granted mercies and be saved.

Now in the modern era, for this curse to be lifted, she must suffer these miseries until her twenty-second year when the mercies will be granted, the prophecy fulfilled and the bond broken.

And this bond is called the 'intimacy bond'

'Intimacy bond?'

'Yes, Noah. This intimate bond is the mating process that would lift her curse, bring your minds together and bring an eternal cure to her sicknesses. For that bond to have been broken, only you Noah must be the first and only man that would mate her. That was why you were drawn to her the night you met her.

But then again, this intimate bond should not have been broken by you knowing her as your enemy and forcing her to do it. It should have been willingly. I'm afraid Noah of what the consequences of breaking the bond by force would be. But I hope it doesn't turn out bad. I did my best to restrict you at that point.'

Noah scoffed unsure to believe what Lux was saying to him.

'It is destiny Noah, and the first prophecy which is opening the bond through mating has been fulfilled. Now it's time for the second prophecy to be fulfilled and that is for me to return to her body, only then will the two of you recover the memory of your previous life and feel the strong connection of mate. Then you will mark her as your mate.'

Noah scoffed. 'Goodness Lux, do you think I will mark someone as my mate? Have you forgotten how much I hate mate?'

'The decision is up to you to make once your memory is back, Noah.

Also, if I don't return to her now, not only you, me and Joseline will suffer destruction but also all of our kind. Thus, to protect everyone who had been granted mercies to see a second life in the modern era, I must fulfil the prophecy.'

For a moment these words sank into Noah's mind and somehow, he was beginning to believe Lux and his thoughts were beginning to be filled with regrets.

'Noah, now that I have explained this to you, you must keep it a secret. Never let anyone know about it until I have fully returned to my owner. Otherwise, it will also mean death to you, me and Joseline and our kind. Remember, this was sealed by the moon goddess and what the moon goddess sealed no one shall break it.

The eclipse of the sun that will happen will be a sign to you that I have returned to Joseline.

'No Lux, don't leave me. I love you and you know that. Please don't leave me.' Noah began to shimmer.

'I'm sorry, Noah, but I have to go.'

With that Lux faded slowly out of his eyes as she sped down the hill.

"No! Alcabab please go after her." Noah screamed and just then he realized where he was. He had walked miles down the hill going after Lux. Stunned, he turned and saw Becky running to catch up with him.

"Noah, what is happening to you?!" Becky called scurrying behind Noah. She was now panting and running out of breath. She pulled him forcefully just when Alcabab was forcing his way towards the white wolf.

Becky's pull made Noah lose his balance and, he stormed to the floor.

"Noah, stop!" Becky grabbed Noah's hand and helped him up. She saw the fear in him and hated herself for saying those words some moments ago. She had been so driven by her feelings that she lost control and said it.

"You don't have to force yourself to marry me. If it's not your choice, there is no need to run away from me." Becky screamed.

Noah stood dumbfounded. He wanted to explain to her that he was only talking to his wolves that's why he left her like that but Becky was already staggering down the hill, her eyes burning with anger and embarrassment.
