33 Toxic Daisy

Daybreak arrived as Daisy tilted her body all over the bed. She groaned loudly and shouted lightly because she felt a sharp pain in her neck. She opened her eyes only to meet the gazes of her mother and Pedro. Jerry and Blake had returned home by order of their mother. They were all supposed to return home the next day anyway. Mrs. Seers knew why she did that. As much as she was emotionally unstable, her sons would have gradually been bruised if they kept seeing their sister’s eyes closed.

“Daisy” Her mother sweetly mentioned her name and patted her hair gently with a smile. Last night was another scary day of her life and she didn’t want any more situations because she could get a heart attack.

“What happened to me?” Daisy whispered and still kept her hands on her neck. She watched their worried faces with a whole different level of anxiousness. Her eyes searched for a certain someone but he wasn’t there.
