Liam turned back as he heard his grandfather call at him. He dodged one of the Wyvern's attacks. The next moment, he jumped high and landed on top of another Wyvern. He then proceeded to rip its head off.

Liam stopped for a bit. He tried to see what happened next from Harriet's eyes without getting distracted.

"What happened?" his Grandfather shouted, jumping down from the top of the fort wall. He could hear Liam suddenly shouting Harriet's name.

[She's fine. She's fine.] Liam said like he was reassuring himself. He felt his chest constricting. It was hard to breathe, harder to move. He just stood there, paralyzed.

"Liam?" his Grandfather called out again. But the giant white wolf didn't answer.

[I was wrong, I shouldn't have left her alone.]

"You need to go?" Rayleigh asked worriedly.

[No, she's fine now. We have to finish this fast.] Liam said, narrowing his golden eyes.
