Sleepover Party (2)

Harriet was walking down the hall when he saw Heath and Miriam coming back from somewhere. She walked faster to greet them, but immediately realized something was wrong.

"You're back. I didn't see you anywhere since yesterday. Where have you been?"

Heath sighed at Harriet's question.

"If you knew they were here, why didn't you do anything?" he asked.

"Who? Mother and His Grace the Grand Duke?" Harriet asked back. Heath nodded. But then he saw the woman's smile. "Yes. I heard they're here to watch the eclipse that will happen in a week."

Heath knitted his eyebrows. "And you believe them?"

"Yes," Harriet answered gently. "There's no single reason not to believe them."

Heath stared at his sister intently. He knew she had somewhat made peace with their mother, but he was still mad and worried. What if something happen because they were here?
