Friends with a wolf

"But Ava, today is a no uniform day. Can't I just wear this?" I said pouting.

"No Missy, come with me. Let's get you something nice to wear." She said and moved towards my closet.

Well that's Ava for you, always deciding what I should wear, what I should eat, where I go. She guided all my steps and whenever she told not to do something and I disobeyed, it resulted in disaster so I depended on her.

"What in the name of the spirits are you still doing up there?" Charlotte's voice called. I could hear her feet's approaching.

"Hazel!!" Charlotte screamed as she approached my room.

"Ava!!! She's coming,you wouldn't like her to see you, or would you? So......" I was about to tell her to disappear but she then interrupted.

"Of course, I would like to introduce myself not to just to her but to your entire friends." Ava said as a wide grin appeared on her face.

"Too bad, I don't have lot of friends, just me, Charlotte, Axel and Rowan." I said as I crossed my arms and sighed.

"Hush, I know, but they three will do." Ava answered as she seemed deep in thoughts.

"Do for what?" Charlotte asked as she barged into my room.

And just then Ava disappeared into thin air, seems like Charlotte heard me conversing with Ava, i had to play naive now.

"Hazel, who were you talking with right now?" She asked as her eyes scanned the room the room.

"No one, let me just get something nice to wear, what did you prepare for breakfast?" I queried trying to distract her from asking me anything.

"Umm.......i made bacon and eggs but were you not talking with someone right now?." She asked again with clear disbelief written on her face.

"Hey chill Charlotte, you look like you've seen a ghost." I said trying to calm Charlotte down.

"I think i heard you discussing with someone." Charlotte said with that same disbelief on her face, it was really visible anyway.

"Charlotte, now you're the one that's gonna make us late." I said as i walked up to my closet and took out a blue jean and a white crop top. Ava said i should look good right?? That's exactly what I'll do

I Then took out a pair of sneakers. I let my hair flow down my face, i applied a little more powder and then my lip gloss and viola, I'm done. Charlotte just stood there mopping at me why i tried my best to look pretty, I'm pretty by the way.

"Earth to Charlotte." I snapped at Charlotte and her body vibrates out of shock. Indeed she spaced out.

"Yeah." She said as she blinked severally.

"Move it, let's go eat and race to school." I said as i dragged her out of the room.

I stopped dragging Charlotte when she complained that i was hurting her, and so we both raced down the stairs to the dinning room. We ate the eggs and bacon she prepared and we both raced to school.

When we arrived school, as we went down the hallway, I noticed everyone was just gaping at me. And as I approached, it was like the wolf girl's who usually bullied were kinda scared of me, like I grew horns at night.

"Charlotte, do you notice anything strange, like anything unusual." I asked looking around to see if there was anyone at my back that they were looking at, it couldn't possibly be me.

"Not really, the only I notice is that you're dressed up so beautiful almost like a barbie and you have this killer look on your face." She said smiling at me

"I don't understand." I said as I raised an eyebrow.

"Like you're kind of.................you have this intimidating aura today." She finally said.

"Intimidating aura??? What do you mean like that.?" I asked as I stopped walking and turned to face Charlotte.

"I mean you look like a Boss baby." She said. And with that she sped off laughing heartily while I raced her behind.

The probability of getting a head when a coin is tossed is bla bla bla............ I was busy taking notes as the maths teacher was discussing on "God knows the topic." All I wanted was for the bell to ring, that's what I waited for. I looked over at Charlotte in frustration to see the same tiring look on her face.

10......9......8....7....6.....5. Now that the countdown I've been waiting for and this is time the teacher's get irritated. This was how the school worked, when it gets to zero the bell rings.

And voila 0..and now that's the bell. I immediately grabbed my book and raced towards Charlotte so she doesn't get missing.

We walked towards the cafe together to grab lunch and funny Enough, no one stopped us to insult or bully us.

Geez, I love this intimidating aura.

"Wanna eat lunch together?." Kayla asked as she appears in front of us with her backpack hung in the shoulder.

"I don't think so........you see....." I stuttered. Its quite unusual for Kayla to be asking for a lunch get together. Like, she was one of my bullies, she really hated me, if you ask me, I think this is some kind of trick or joke, or prank, whatever.

"Pls babe's, I think we should stop being enemies for a while, I'm sorry for acting the way I always did, pls can we be friends at least?" She asked giving us one of those her puppy look.

"Excuse us for a minute." I said and without waiting for her reply, I yanked Charlotte's hand and we turn to a corner.

"What?." She snapped.

"Don't you think this is some kind of prank or trick? Kayla asking to join us for lunch. I mean it's weird." I said as I looked at her directly.

She looked at me for a few seconds before she flicks my forehead.

"Oww." I exclaim as I rubbed the part where she hit me.

"Duh......I actually think she's being real, like I think she really want to be friends." She said as she rolled her eyes.

"Do we have a problem here?." Kayla asks as she place her hands on both our shoulders.

"No, everything's fine, let's go take lunch." Charlotte said as she pulled the both of us.

Kayla looked really excited as we went to fall in line and bought our lunch.

As we were eating and chatting, Wendy came in with two other bimbo's. Now that's another bully coming in and she was coming to our direction. I was damn scared of this girl, as I made to go out, Kayla held me back.

"Relax Hazel, we're friends now, Wendy is not going to do anything." She assured me, I had to sit back and watch this new episode unfold
