{Kayla's Pov}

Ava had teleported me back to the pack house, and I was surprised at how things changed. I guess, living in this pack house, if you got missing or disappeared everyone would notice.

How the hell, am I supposed to be going to the woods to see the rest of the team without anyone's attention

I had to hatch a plan, I had to make a move, I had to do something.

And soon a knock on my door jolted me from my thoughts, who the fuck is that? Now I really don't need friends anymore.

I opened the door to see my best friend Anna beaming with smiles, but I didn't even smile back.

"What do you want?." I asked coldly

"Jeez!! Kayla, that's so not like you. I came to see you." Anna said still smiling.

"I'm sorry Anna, but I'm really not welcoming any visitors today." I said and made to shut the door, but Anna stopped me.

"Kayla what's wrong? What is going on because something is definitely going on." Anna asked inquisitively.
