The longer we stood outside, the more dangerous it was for us both― I did not trust my sense of rationality to not abandon me the longer Damon's fingers continued to rest on my hips, promising a wickedly pleasurable time.

Even as he said this, he made no move to leave. He remained rooted to the ground, smugness radiating off him. Clearly, he didn't care about letting anyone see whatever we did in private. I growled and grabbed him by the arm, and his answering smirk sent butterflies fluttering through my tummy.
