"No, Madam. His majesty is still attending a meeting with the Grand Viceroy in the headquarters." The guard answered. 

Gloria bulged her eyes in shock, blood boiling under her skin that her graceful face turned grim in no time. "Why wasn't I informed that my son would meet with the Grand Viceroy today?"

The guard lowered his head in shame, swallowing his fear under Gloria's scrutinizing gaze. "Pardon my incompetence, but the meeting wasn't scheduled, ma'am." He said, "I received information that the Grand Viceroy requested an urgent deliberation, and His Majesty the Alpha sovereign went without delaying after reading the classified report."

"An urgent deliberation?! And you are just telling me this now?!" Gloria raised her voice in disbelief. The news obviously made her angry, but more than that, she had no idea why  Eldrin didn't tell her before meeting with Jacob.
