Suindara was furious and took a few steps towards Alfonso, teeth clenched and fists clenched. Delina knew that the position of Suindara's hands indicated that he intended to use magic, but she hurriedly placed a hand on his shoulder.

"No." She whispered, shaking her head from side to side.

"He doesn't respect Giovietta at all! And he doesn't respect  me!" Suindara complained, exasperated.

Alfonso kept a smirk on his face and Sophie was disgusted by him. He was handsome, but his character and personality were worthless.

"I do respect it, Giovietta." Alfonso said. "More than you. I know she deserves better."

"Lady Giovietta Gallard, for you, Duke." Delina cut him off, scowling at him. "And no, you don't respect her. You know she is engaged, yet you insist on sending a procession of flowers to the Palace, knowing full well that it would end up tarnishing her reputation!"
