Chapter 121

Maise and Rowan's wedding party lasted three days and the two of them disappeared from time to time. Hans knew exactly why.

Everything seemed to be going great, everyone smiling and singing, having a good time. Some had already left, after all, not all of them can handle so many days of revelry. But despite all that happiness, Hans had a bad feeling.

Rowan trusted that Hans could foresee any misfortune, even though the mage had already said he had no control over it.

A knight approached Hans and informed him that his brother Aaron had sent a message. From the guard's tone, it was urgent.

Hans thanked him and opened the message. Aaron had been injured while hunting and needs Hans' help ASAP. Boars were dangerous and, most of the time, an attack by this animal was deadly to humans, even if they were of excellent constitution.

"King Rowan?" Hans approached the monarch, who turned to him, red in the face after exiting a hallway with Maise.
