Chapter 72 The Goddess\'s Child

I raise my hand to them as I close my eyes – even my cornea couldn’t stop the surge of bright light from entering my eyes.

“Ugh,” I scrunch my nose as I closed my eyes tight.

“My child, come back to me,” I heard the most angelic voice I’ve ever heard. It was stern yet gentle, it was higher in pitch but not annoying, and a graceful tone.

I opened my eyes as I slowly adjusted to the light, “Where am I?” I ask as I made sense of a blurry shape in front of me.

The surroundings were dark and if the lady in front of me hadn’t projected such graceful light, I wouldn’t have even seen my own body.

“I’m here to take you back, my little Luna,” she called out to me fondly. I look at her as I am able to see her clearly.

“Who-Who are you?” I stutter as I try to take in the beauty she possesses. Even Florose can’t dream of going against it.
