Chapter 16

I woke up to hear a low hum of what sounds like a song. It was Urthure, it seems like only a few minutes have passed by.

“Are there no more priests coming here?”, I asked Urthure as I was about to get up, however, he pushed me down as I lay on his lap.

“I’ll tell you when they do,” he said and I was about to relax when I remembered my true intentions in coming here.

“What time is it?”, I ask him as I stare down the place while he hums.

“It’s only been 10 minutes since you fell asleep,” he said and I nodded. We were looking for more information but I got sleepy.

I decided to just stay awake in case time goes by fast and I forget to escort the alpha again.

I’ve never been slapped to the point of a severe bruise from the alpha, however I can’t fully use Uri’s skills since he has been quiet for some time now.

I can’t even do simple things like night vision, that’s how I realized how important Uri was to me.
