1 01: On the run

I'm finally free of him!

It took me three long years, to finally be free of the guy who took me, to clear off my parents debt. I was merely his slave for his club, but not anymore. I was now on a bus, to a town where I heard he couldn't easily get into.

My phone buzzed in my pocket.

My eyes nearly watered, as I saw who was calling. It was my dreaded enemy. The guy whom I was running from. There had been instances where I didn't want to pick up, however I knew I had to talk to him eventually, and have him never call me again.

Wiping away my sudden tears, I braced myself.

I can do this.

Just tell him the truth.

I sighed reluctantly answering it.

"Hello?"

"Cherry, it's 11pm where are you?" He asked in his condescending tone. 

I hated that nickname he gave me three years ago. I was more like a pet in his eyes, and each passing day felt like a nightmare when I worked unwillingly at his club. A wild shiver ran down my spine as I recalled, what he'd made me do, when I tried to escape three years ago.

"Long way from town." I replied. After the amount of tips I made, I'd secretly stashed enough to finally plan my escape from him.

Theo laughed through the phone, finding my response funny. Truth be told, I was internally freaking out. My hand was literally shaking, for I knew the kind of guy he was, and between you and me, he wasn't your kind drop dead gorgeous boss.

Don't let his good looks fool you. Theo was a bad man, a bad man that you didn't want to cross the wrong way.

"Excuse me? Let's not forget that fact that I own you Haru Mizono." He spoke like he was my devil that I had already sold to. Technically I did, but who wouldn't when your kind troubled parents lives were on the line.

Unfortunately for me, he owned me since the tender age of seventeen.

But not anymore. I am nineteen now, and I am freeing myself from his crazy invisible leash he has on me.

"Yeah, well guess what Theo, you no longer have the right to own me. You see, you evil prick. I own me, and I'm leaving."

Bold, thy name was Haru.

He let out a dark amused laugh. I never spoke in a rude tone like that ever. I may have a three years ago, I even may have slapped him once or twice during my so called 'training' sessions with my arrogant senior trainers, who were introducing me to the entertainment world as an exotic dancer, and let me tell you, he threatened me and low-key mentally tortured me to a point, where I was weeping for days.

A girl breaks after she's not given anything to eat for three whole days, and she breaks further when two of his deadliest minions walk into the room and threaten to rape you right in front of their boss, whilst he watched like he'd enjoy himself.

Thankfully!

I'd come to my senses and pathetically crawled on the floor, begging for forgiveness and complied to behave and become a stripper for his club.

"Don't tell me you're escaping from your Master, Cherry. And you're wrong I do own you. But since you're on the run again, let me paint a picture, for what's going to happen to you, when I catch you, and I will, again"

An unwanted chill went down my spine.

He caught me and made me sleep in the basement with just a mattress and no pillow or blanket. He made me go days without food. I'd cried myself to sleep many times, and I freaked out further when he once came and slept in the mattress pulling me close to him. That night, I swear I thought he'd take my virginity, but he didn't.

Theo Giovani was my devil.

A devilish handsome guy who I had no choice but to obey, if I valued my life or my parents life. However as I spoke on the phone with him, he seemed to carry a pleasant tone. Almost as if he was going to enjoy chasing me once again.

"I'll make you wear a really hot tight, skimpy red bikini, and you're going to dance for me on that stripper pole, where you belong."

I scoffed, already gagging at that thought.

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me, I made a mistake making you a drug mule. Now look what you've done. You've disappointed me. You shouldn't have run from you Master. I have demoted you back to being my personal stripper. Your mule days are over. No, infact, since you're practically over the age of eighteen, I'll make you my personal whore. I think it's high time I took your sweet tight virginity. Hmmm, yes I can already smell how ripe and fresh you already are for me, baby."

A wild shudder went down my spine. I wish this bus would go faster!

"In your fucking dreams asshole!" I snapped making him laugh.

"Cherry, why the fuck are you whispering for?" He asked in a puzzled tone.

"Because I'm on a bus!" I snapped.

"What bus?"

I slapped my stupid mouth.

Congratulations, you stupid butthole. He wasn't supposed to know that!

"The bus that says 'non of your fucking business where I'm going' asshole." I snapped lenting my anger out since I was miles away from him. Honestly, I don't know where this bravery was coming, from. Infact, I wasn't the type to swear. I was raised to be a very well mannered polite speaking girl.

However, Theo had disturbed my inner peace so much that I couldn't help but break bad.

As a deadly, evil prick that he was, Theo may have stolen my first kiss three years ago but luckily, this evil prick hadn't stolen my V card. Although he was trying his luck, I always found a way to reject him in a polite way. Luckily, Theo hadn't done anything to me, but I feared the worst, now that I escaped.

"Asshole? Woah, ok shots fired. Getting back to the picture, I will make you dance for me. Then I will strip you butt naked, tie you up to that same pole, spank you, lick you where you've never been before and then fuck you over and over, whilst screaming out my name, until you're seeing stars."

My face crimsoned with dark shades of red and not in a good way.

"Stop, you're making me barf!"

"Hmmm, that's not what happened the last time I spanked you when you tried to escape is it?"

I was young and stupid to have tried to escape from him, when I unwillingly joined his club. I was practically sold to clear my parents debt. Thankfully my parents and I had been planning for my escape for over three years.

He was not going to stop me this time round. I finally had the upper hand in this fight, against my freedom, he didn't know it yet.

"Oh baby, I can still smell that arousal you had for me than and fuck it's already getting me so h-"

I interjected, ceasing his sudden horny tone for me.

"Enough! Theo, let's get one thing straight you little dick!" I seethed angrily in a low whisper since I was in a night bus, with many sleeping passengers, heading towards a town where I heard he was banned from entering.

Luckily enough for me, it was the same town that one of my best friend lived at. After she found out about my horrible circumstances, she encouraged me to escape and move out.

"Haru, I assure you there is nothing little about me, princess."

"Shutup, you crazy fuck!" I seethed out angrily once more, making him erriely go quiet. It was almost as if he was letting me have my moment over him. Which rarely ever happened.

"You're going to listen to me, and you're going to listen good, you evil prick. I am leaving you and your damn night club Silver Moon. Why? Because I know all about your illegal gambling trade, the drugs you sell and illegal fight clubs you run."

Theo laughed amused.

"Cherry, may I remind you that I own half the cops intown?"

"But do you own the judge?" I countered.

"Excuse me? Cherry, I hope you're not threatening me."

"Damn right I am."

He chuckled even more amused.

"With what exactly?"

I then forwarded him a sudden message on his phone

//DING//

His phone notification sounded.

"Check, your phone bitch."

Wow, I'm on a roll, calling him a bitch. Congratulations to me, I suddenly feel like a badass.

"Cherry watch your feisty rude mouth, or I'll put something inside it to discipline you."

I didn't dare imagine what it was and scoffed at his dirty thought.

"Yeah, well fuck you. I'm miles away from you right now, and guess what you stupid fucker, you didn't see this bitch coming. Now check your phone Theo, I will not repeat myself."

"Hmmm, all this time I thought you were so cute and submissive, I had no idea, that you had such a brave and arrogant side to you. You're lucky you know? I love how you're talking like a boss, such a fucking turn on Cherry."

I couldn't understand why he found my rude behaviour like a turn on for him. Most people that talked back at him, never so the light of day again.

The only reason, why I was so brave enough to talk back at him, was because I was miles away from his crazy ass. If he was a foot near me, my gaze would be darted to the floor. Only the people who were close to him, dared looked him in his eyes. The rest in his club were trapped like slaves, under his dominant rule.

Well, not anymore.

I faked a yawn.

"Whatever, you're starting to bore me, I'm hanging up."

"Wait! I'm checking it, don't you dare hang up Cherry or Master will be get very, very an-"

At this point, I hung up without a care in the world.

Three minutes later, I smirked when he furiously called me back.

"You fucking bitch." He seethed with his dark angry tone. Here we go.

I smirked with triumph.

"I see you checked the video, I sent."

He scoffed, arrogantly to my response.

"Bitch please. You think this is supposed to scare me?"

"It should you crazy A hole. Because, I heard that FBI are on to you. You may own the cops in town, but not the feds, honey."

I spoke to him like he was a five year old, which was probably infuriating even more.

Then he let out a strange dark feral voice that I hadn't heard in long, long time. I secretly shuddered in my seat. I was expecting him to angrily shout at me and threaten me.

"Haru, baby." Instead this crazy fucker cooed at me in the sweetest tone ever. I quickly controlled the alarming shaking of my hand and took back that fiery control in my speech again.

"Don't you dare call me baby! I'm not your baby, you murderer. I mean I was expecting you to be doing illegal deals with the gaming agency, and we all know how you love offering bribes to the mayor and even the council members to get your business legally up and running, but I never expected to see you kill half the people on the council including the mayor and his wife at their house. You're just bad to the bone, aren't you?"

"Oh baby, you don't know how bad I can be. I guess I'll send Killian and his men to finish the job three years ago. If you haven't understood by now, it means I'm heading over to get your parents and shoot them in their faces." He darkly threatened.

This time, let out an amused laugh.

"Yeah, newsflash, they're not at home. They've already gone, far far away from Stone Bridge (name of small town county), and you'll never find them."

Theo let out a more angrier growl than before and I heard a loud crashing sound, which sounded like he threw something heavy across his huge spacious room.

"Oh baby, you've got me so worked up. You'll pay with your sweet feisty ass, that I'll fuck over and over until I get tempted to pull a bullet through you."

My heart pounded in my chest. One time I had gone to ask Theo for a day off since I was unwell with a cold and a fever, however when I reached his office, he was having wild rough sex with one of his slutty secretaries, whom he was pounding at the back, with her face down on his desk.

A shudder went down my spine, when he caught me staring at him from the front door. My heart raced, immdiately forgetting about the cold and fever I had on the spot. Theo grinned, rutting her from the back even faster, as I shamelessly apologised then ran away, weirdly turned on by the sight, that had got me wet for him.

"Go fuck yourself!" I seethed angrily, making him laugh out like he was pissed of and entertained by me all at once.

"Oh, Cherry baby, I rather fuck you."

Another unwanted chill ran down my spine, as I pictured him winging my arms back, roughly and pinning me up against his office wall whilst darkly saying that to me in besides my ear in an unwanted lusty way.

My heart pounded in fright once more.

No, no, no you have come too far too fear him now! Stay strong Haru. I snapped out of my sudden shadow of fright that he'd cast upon me for years.

"Now, be a good girl and come home. I'll even forgive you for what you did and won't kill you."

I loosely laughed. How stupid did he think I was? Of course he'd kill me.

"Yeah, that's not going to happen, asshole."

"Haru." He said with his playful tone dead, and now replaced with his threatening darker tone. Thank god, I was miles away from him, as I next continued, ignoring the sudden shivers down my spine.

"I am not going back to grinding and shaking my ass on a god damn pole, for a bunch of wife cheating, disgusting pig headed drunkard asswipes who look at me like I'm some kind of piece of meat!"

I stressed almost on the verge of tears.

"Haru, baby calm down. Listen to me sweetheart. I need you to look at something."

//DING//

This time my phone rung with a short notification. I sighed out and quickly saw what he sent me.

My heart pounded in my chest.

He had taken a video of me healing an injured bird that almost got hunted down by a fox. He got every single detail, of me working with my miraculous healing powers, that no one apart from my adoptive parents knew about.

Newsflash, I'm not entirely strictly speaking human.

I suddenly felt so defeated. Looks like I wasn't free of this evil prick afterall.

"You know!"

"Oh, Haru. Do you honestly think I didn't? I've known for a good 3 years."

I fell deadly silent with shock.

"Why didn't you say anything?" I asked notching down my angry tone I had with him.

"Cherry." I could practically feel him smirking like he had me all, wrapped around his finger once again.

"Baby, I know how to keep secrets. In fact I was saving this special video because I had a feeling, you'd escape me. So if you don't want NASA coming looking for your cute troubled feisty alien ass, come back home to me, and I'll forgive you."

"Yeah, I highly doubt that and anyways, you go right ahead and you send that video over to them. I'll just tell them that they fell for a prank."

"Haru." He sighed with a dark warning tone once again. No, I'm not going to let him get to me. I've come too far, for me to turn back now, no thanks to his sudden threat. You know what I need to do? I just need to stay cool, and challenge him.

"Don't Haru me, Theo. Your little threat doesn't scare me. I mean, who'd believe that I'm an alien? Anyways, I'm nowhere close to an alien. Do you honestly think they will believe you when I say that video was crafted. I mean, all I have to say it's practically CGI right?"

I laughed, knowing I had won again. Eat that, Theo!

"Haru, don't be stupid. They will stick needles into you and test your blood, and they'll know the truth. Is that what you really want?"

He countered back, making me secretly freaked out, internally.

"No." I sighed out in defeat.

"Then for the last time, come back home. I give you my word, I won't kill you."

Says the evil dangerous psycho, who almost starved me to death in his basement, once upon a time ago.

"Yeah, that's still a hard no, I know you will. I've got far too much evidence of your evil ways, to know that you will go back on your word, and you will kill me."

"In all honesty, Cherry I just want to kill you bed."

"Ok, that's it, I'm hanging up now. Have a nice life Mr Theo Giovani."

"Haru!"

"What? You think I'm dumb enough to come back to you. After what you did to me! After what you put me through! I had fucking sleepless nights because if you, so for the last time, go fuck yourself Theo, because I'm never coming back."

He sighed and replied after a danger long pause.

"You can't escape me. No matter what I put you through. You belong to me Haru. You'll always will. So get ready baby. If you plan on hiding, hide well. I'm still coming after you, and when I find you, fuck well I'm just going have so much fun in the basement with you, I can't wait."

"Theo!" I snapped angrily making him darkly laugh over the line.

"I will hunt you down."

He finally said, causing more shivers down my spine.

"Goodluck." I said and threw the phone out of the window.

I sighed pulling my duffle bag close and sighing out of relief, knowing finally I was free of the devil.
