She wasn't a weak woman and she was going to fight back if he dared to assault her with them against her wish.

"This is not your room and neither is it mine. So why did you bring me in here?" she asked in a consciously strong tone.

His gaze immediately turned sharp and he gave her a condescending look.

"You have no right to question me." He sneered with a huge scowl on his face. "I'm about to give you a befitting punishment and that is all that you need to know."

He paused for a moment and there was a look of disgust in his eyes.

"Judging from your slutty behavior, you might enjoy this punishment of mine," he said, indirectly mocking her.

But he did not make a move directly. He seemed to be considering his actions too.

Sylvia stood there with a horrified look. She was trying to process all that Nolan had said to her.

Her lips trembled slightly and she shook violently. Tears welled at the rim of her eyes at his words.

He had called her a slut. Yet, he was her first man.

It was so ironic.

She gritted her teeth and couldn't help but burst out angrily, "What are you punishing me for?"

"I told you that I have nothing to do with Xavier. Stop trying to pick on me for no damn reason," she said, finally speaking her mind.

Nolan turned and looked at her for some seconds before deciding on what to say to her. "I am not blind, neither am I a fool. Xavier was with you the other night and today he was with you in your room. Who knows how many special moments the two of you have spent together without anyone having to notice it?"

Dawn of realization flashed on Sylvia's face. She and Xavier were indeed close and he was usually keeping her company and cheer her up most of the time. There was no way for her to defend herself.

It was then she panicked. If she was unable to defend herself and let the crazy man in front of her understand that she wasn't fooling around, it would be disastrous.

She would have to fight back and he would be on alert around her, thereby ruining all her plans.

She clasped her hand tightly as she looked up at him, the rims of her eyes now red. "Believe me, I'm not that type of woman. You are the first man I have ever been with. You took my virginity away and you know that, so why are you trying to bury the truth away by lying to yourself?"

Nolan looked down at her. His fists tightened and veins were popping in his hand. As he looked at how helpless she seemed, his heart tightened and he nearly gave in.

But a moment later, he shook his head and looked at her harshly. He had seen how happy she looked with Xavier. He hated that she never acted that way around him.

She was always so defensive bad helpless around him. He didn't like it at all.

He looked at Sylvia and his chin tickled. He did not seem to care at all about her words.

Sylvia also realized this as he approached her. She immediately got into a defensive posture and glared at him.

She warned, "Don't come near me or I'll have to attack you."
