"What's wrong?" Sapphire, Xavier's mother asked immediately after Bianca stepped into the room. Bianca sat on one of the sofas, looking very worried and angry at the same time.

"You once said to me that your son and I are destined by the moon goddess to be together?"

"I did." Sapphire nodded. "Is there a problem?"

"Ever since the alpha brought in that bitch, Xavier has been around her," Bianca voiced out.

Xavier's mom let out a smile. "There is no need to get all worked up about anything. She isn't his mate. Remember that she belongs to the alpha, so he would not be able to make this mistake of marking his territory on the alpha's woman."

"But, they are being too close."

"I noticed. But calm down. You have to." Sapphire sat beside her on the sofa.

"I can't calm down. I am afraid that bitch might take my place sooner or later. Although I said it to threaten Alpha Nolan it might happen.." she said, shaking her legs the way she usually did whenever she was nervous.

"He won't. Xavier is smart enough to know the consequence. Don't worry about that." Sapphire assured her.

Bianca hoped within herself that Alpha Nolan was going to take actions that would separate Xavier from Sylvia. She hoped that he took all that she said to him seriously.

At that point, she already knew that the alpha would punish Xavier too but she was just too selfish to think of the repercussions.

Inside Xavier's room, Bianca tried to kiss Xavier.

"What the heck are you trying to do? Are you mad?!" He asked, pushing her away. He was furious and disgusted. He had always known Bianca and believed she was his mate. He couldn't understand why she had such a misconception as they would have found out already if she truly was.

So, he had always avoided being near her. Except that it was a little hard as his mother liked her and would always play tricks to make them be together in the same place.

And that was how she had managed to sneak into his room.

"I'm sorry," Bianca muttered, lowering her head pitifully. "As your mate, I just felt that it's my right to lighten up your mood."

"I saw what the Alpha did to you earlier and I find it unacceptable," she said, obviously trying to use her words to pave the way to get closer to him.

Bianca couldn't stop herself. She wanted to kiss him. Suck at those beautiful, kissable lips. She didn't know why she was so smitten by him. It had always been that way since they were kids.

Probably because she had gotten used to people complimenting them by saying they fitted each other well.

Xavier immediately frowned. "What mate? Stay away from me."

"What are you saying? You are my mate, I have witnessed a lot of signs, which signify that you are my mate. I am fully convinced." Bianca retorted.

How could she let go of this beautiful specie?

"You better stop having those useless thoughts. Convinced you say? By what?" Xavier retorted, looking very annoyed.

"They..."

"Bye and good day to you. I have more important things to attend to." He indirectly mocked.

Bianca bowed her head. He was right. She didn't see or have anything to convince him that she was his mate. Except for his mother who was convinced that they were mates truly.
