11 Dreams

Caleb's POV

Today is the day that the Blue Springs Gamma is making his visit, today is about making a plan. These rogue attacks have gotten out of hand, and we need to make sure we are prepared and can handle the attacks. Our warriors are very formable however, these attacks seem to be more than just random trespassers. Not all rogues are bad but lately all the rogues have been attacking the pack members, not looking for refuge and protection.

With all the attacks we have been having I have been staying with in the pack boarders, not attending school. I knew as alpha. That I would have a slightly different childhood as other wolf's but I was hoping to have a little bit of a normal senior year. I guess I was wrong about that since I have missed the last 3 months. I miss my friends the most. My best friend is in Alpha Brandon's pack, his daughter Courtney, I had hoped she was my mate but when my birthday came and my wolf didn't call to her I knew she wasn't.

I have spoken with my dad about doing a little traveling, visiting other packs to meet the Alpha's but also in search for my mate. I hope dad will agree to it after I graduate, I really want to find my mate and the Luna for the pack. I. Know my dad u dear stand my need, for an alpha the push for their mate is extremely strong. Lately my wolf has been pushing real hard for our mate, almost like he can feel her close by. I think I need to talk to my dad about my wolf maybe he has an idea about how to calm my wolf down. I guess there no time like the present so I start walking to my dad's office.

Reaching my dad's door I give it a soft knock, I respect my dad and still acknowledge him as alpha.

"Come in son."

"Hi dad.. Can I talk to you for a minute."

"Sure son, what's on your mind?"

"Well I am not really sure to be honest, dad. My wolf, he is acting crazy today."

"Explain what's going on son."

"Well it is like he is very anxious and worried at the same time. Like something is going to happen."

"Well our wolves are very intune to the nature surrounding us. So he may be sensing something. Just listen to your wolf let him guide you."

"Ok dad. I think I will go for a run and clear our heads. I'll be back in a bit."

"Remember Gamma Jack will be here soon."

"I will dad. Talk later ok?"

"Yes, we will talk later son. Have a good run."

As soon as I walk out of the door of pack house I shift not caring about my clothes as they rip off my body and take off running full speed to the tree line. I run for what seems like hours until I reach Crystal Lake, I sit by the water side looking down at my solid black wolf. My wolf is larger than a normal alpha, but no one ever said anything about it. Deciding to just relax for a bit I lay down beside the lake and close my eyes and slip into a dream.

I am laying in a big field with little white flowers in bloom. My wolf leans down to sniff one when he hears someone scream. He jolts up and runs to where it came from to find a young woman with red hair and green eyes running from a couple of rouges. I jumped in front of them and let a growl. They both stopped and sneered at me. As I went to bare my teeth at them the rouge on the left lunged at me, I quickly ducked and rolled catching him off guard. He slid to a halt and turned swiping his paw at me just barely missing my head. I jumped to get a grip on the back of his neck snapping it like a twig. The second rouge had disappeared out of sight. I took second look at the rouge I had just killed then turned to look for the red-headed girl.

Seeing her crouched down in the flowers he eased over slowly as not to scare her. He was lost looking into her eyes, as he got close to her, he got down close to the ground a crawled up to her. He nudged her hand with snout, and she jumped back with a whimper, her eyes telling him she was scared to death. But there was something about her, something that was a bit familiar, almost as if he has seen her before. She reached her hand up and touched his fur, allowing her to just take her time because he wanted to be in her company, feeling warm inside not knowing the reason. He decided to try and inch closer hoping that she wouldn't run away since he felt pulled to her. She must have felt comfortable with him as she was still stoking his fur as if she were petting a pet dog.

He just laid there allowing her to rub and scratch him behind the ears, which he completely enjoyed but would never tell anyone. "Thank you for saving my life." She finally spoke. He just purred in response, knowing he didn't want to scare her. He raised up and licked her face and took a long inhale of her scent. She was the reason his wolf was going crazy, she had to be, but she had no scent human or otherwise.

'Caleb, Caleb where are you? Gamma Jack is here' Dad links me waking from my dream.

'I'm on my way" My dream felt so real, I remember he scent, her eyes, her hair like I had ran my hands through it. She looked so familiar, but I still cannot place where I have seen her before.
