I moaned softly as I lifted my eyelids. I noticed I was in a strange room, although it looked alright and somewhere frightless.
"Where am I exactly?" I whispered to myself as I studied the room with my blurry eyesight. I noticed I was laying on a bed, and how happy and relieved I was when I felt the softness of the bed.
It has been quite a while since I laid comfortably. Quickly, I used it as an opportunity. I tossed on the bed, feeling the softness and the warmth. I could not help but chuckle to show how happy and relieved I was.
Just then, the door made squeaky sounds to show signs of someone opening it. I quickly composed myself, and closed my eyes tightly.
"Hmm… Is she still unconscious or what?" I heard someone whisper, and I slightly opened my eyes, peeking at whoever made such a statement.
"Oh! You're awake!" A man in his late fifties gushed, after noticing my mild movement.
"Oh…" I whispered and forced a smile. I sat upright and rubbed my long arm.
