CHAPTER 4

Christain and his friends sat at the empty bar they had booked for the night. He was glad that his friends were in full support of his relationship with Miriam, he felt happy having them around at times like this. "Thank you so much for doing this guys," He muttered as they all cheered before clicking their full bottles of beer together.

  “Cheers!”

  “Cheers,”

Cheers.” The voices of his friends came as they cheered their cups.

“What have you guys prepared?” Christain asked them.

“You are making me nervous!” Christain said, sipping from his drink.

"I can't believe that you are getting married Christain, the last time we met up was when you had your heart shattered by Lara. You threw a huge fit and made it clear that you weren't going to have anything to do with any woman," one of his friends let out, causing a burst of hysterical laughter to echo among others.

"Don't tease the groom to be that way, he is now drunk in love," another teased, making everybody laugh.

"I never imagined that I would be this happy guy. All my life, I have thought that my heart was meant for someone special, and just when I got tired of love! Miriam came into my heart in a grand style and right now she has robbed my whole heart." Christian let out making his friends laugh.

"Congrats man, who would have thought you would be mad over heels for Miriam," His friends said. All too soon the cheering died down when a lady on a mask and jacket walked over to them.

"Wooohhh," Christain's friends cheered but Christain didn't bother staring at the lady.

"I guess this wasn't the only thing prepared my friend, here is a sexy gift to send you off bachelorhood," his friend said, patting his shoulders but Christain objected.

"No guys, I'm not interested in this," he said firmly.

"Alright! tough guy, let's see how man enough you can be then," one of them said, causing the rest to chuckle hard as they stood up to leave.

"What are you guys doing?" CHristian asked but they ignored him and left.

The lady climbed on the empty chair before letting the jacket that was clutched to her body to let loose. Christian wiggled his head before sipping the whole content from his drink, she slowly climbed the top of the table before crawling towards Christain.

Right now she was half-naked and quite no difference from the strippers at the club. She only had a leather bra that showed off her nipples and a lacy pant that showed her shaved vagina.

Christian stood up to leave but she pulled him back to the chair. She slowly and sexily removed her mask as her face became exposed. Christian almost burst out into laughter when his Ex Lara was the one all along.

He wondered what she was doing here at his bachelor's party.

"What are you doing here Lara? I know for sure that this is a bachelor party for men, so what are you doing here?" Christian asked, she said nothing as she traced invisible lines around his chest before inching close to his lips to kiss him but he instantly pulled back.

"What, why are you pushing me away? Don't you want me anymore?" She asked with a confused look.

"It's wrong for you to be here, it's my bachelor's night with my friend but you are ruining everything," Christain muttered before getting up from the chair he had been seated on.

“Can’t we do this like the good old days?” Lara asked and he wiggled his head.

“Of course not because I’m getting married!” Christain told her firmly.

“But she doesn’t have to know about it. We can actually keep it a secret from her, can’t we?” Lara said, placing a soft kiss on Christain’s lips.

He seemed to be fed up as he slowly got up from the chair.

“Stop it already. Lara, what do you plan on doing?” Christain asked with a furrowed eyebrow.

“Christian, I realized that I made a mistake when I left you!” Lara said.

“You should have thought about that when you left me for another man!” Christain fired back.

“I was never happy with that guy and you know why I wasn't?” Lara asked.

“It was all because I was still in love with you! I was tempted and weak and I’m sorry for everything I have done to you! I hope that you would forgive me Christain!” She said,

“Believe it or not, you have already been forgiven!” He told her plainly.

“Then let's get back together and do the things we both did back then, when you used to love me so much and couldn’t survive the day without me. When being with me used to drive you crazy!” she uttered, hugging him tightly.

“Those were the past Lara, and I want you to know that I never loved you again since then because I love someone else now!” He told her plainly.

"Christian, I know you are trying to use Miriam to get me jealous," Lara stated.

"Get over yourself Lara, it's over between us! It's Miriam I love and would forever love," Christain, let out sternly.

"But I love you Christian," Lara let out.

"I think you should get yourself covered, it's chilly outside," Christain said before dropping a huge sum on the table before leaving.

"Christian don't do this to me," Lara said holding Christain's hand but he flinched from her hold before walking out of the bar.

Meanwhile, it was getting really dark and Miriam was about to leave the market to head home when a hand wrapped around her eyes. The sweet and expensive fragrance she always liked made her know who exactly was behind her.

"Christian?" She called as the hand went off her sight.

"What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be at your bachelor party?" She asked. "Uhmm, I just realized that I missed you so much," he said, helping her out.

"No, don't worry! I have got this covered." She said, staring at him. "I have told you and your sister to stop working in the market, I have promised to help you guys out in whatever way." Christian let out.

"If you keep saying that, people might actually think I'm after your money which I'm totally not." Miriam let out with a smile.

"Hurry, so I can drop you home! I don't want you using the night cab this late," Christain said, making Miriam nod in approval.

  """"""""""""""""""

The next morning when Lara was having breakfast. Her phone began to beep. She stared at the phone to notice the caller id. She glanced at it for another seconds before picking it up.

"What do you have to say this morning, Daisy? I hope it's good news?" She asked.

“It seems like you didn’t accomplish your mission!” Daisy said on the phone.

“Huh, I’m not done yet you know and I would never stop until I have pulled them apart because I’m the one for Christain!” Lara let out with a huge sigh.

"I told you that Christian is over you, did you see how they are being featured in the biggest magazine company in the country? Christain is really trying to tell the whole world about this new princess he had gotten," Daisy said.

"Did you call to mock me or tell me the bad news?" Lara said.

"I just thought you should know and maybe move on, Christain seems to be doing fine and I felt you should be happy for him." Daisy said.

"Happy, I promise you that the marriage wouldn't take place Daisy. Christian is mine and mine alone." Lara said before hanging up. She stared at the hot cup of coffee in her front before pushing the whole content to the floor.

"You really need to do something really quick and fast Lara," she muttered under her breath before letting her hands roam around her hair freely.
