　　The moment Christian's car was out of sight, Carlos pulled away from the hug before asking Miriam the question that was lingering around his mind. "so you still talked with Christian? why didn't you tell me that he came back?" Carlos asked clenching his jaw tightly to an extent that he could taste his own blood.

　　"Because___ because I felt that there was no reason for me to tell you that he came back," Miriam said, swallowing hard.

　　"Reason?" Carlos yelled at the top of his voice that one could notice his veins popping out. "that guy used to be a very big part of your life!" Carlos pointed out.

　　"Common, that was then Carlos but not now!" Miriam told him.

　　"But tell me something, what if he wants you back? would you forgive him and go back to him?" Carlos asked.

　　"Carlos, how can you even say that? do you think it's that easy to forget about what he did to me? I cannot forgive him!" Miriam stated honestly.
