6 Twisted Toxic Love

Oh ho ho ho! I'm back I have something totally exciting to show you all!

So I spent about a month and a half tediously whittling down this chapter on and off. I felt off about it the whole time as I was trying to make it at first serious, then funny, and then a few other tones but I couldn't figure it out. Writer's block suuuuucks.

But as I was driving home after a grueling eight-hour shift in Gulag, the idea below hit me and it was so brilliant I cackled out as it solved my issues about the past, present and future of this story! So I scrapped the whole chapter and wrote this all from the ground up in just two weeks!

P.S: I have a little funny abridged retelling of the last chapter. It's there because it was fun to write and the end of this chapter will be dark guys.

So get comfortable and read on!

======================

Geto: Not for me hoe bag. HEE-YEAH!

---Now On With The Show!---

Makima vs Suguru Geto

Aiming down her sights, Makima started off with a-!

{Bang!}

The still charging Geto heard her call out and knew from experience to dodge what he couldn't see. He tensed up as the ground opened up from seemingly nothing, followed by a sound that sounded like a shotgun. "That was close. What technique was that? There wasn't any cursed energy," thought Suguru as he landed against the wall at a ninety degree angle. He launched off the wall with impressive force as he bounced across the open corridor of walls, readying Playful Cloud to clobber her.

Makima adjusted her cursed glasses, taking the opportunity to do a split to dodge the horizontal strike of his weapon. Geto's eyes widened in surprise as she pushed off her hands to throw a kick at his head that he barely was able to block. The force was enough to push him back, dust rising as he slid across the ground "Good, I can hit him. Time to go the offense."

"She hits too damn hard!" grimaced Geto, as he was then surprised again as she closed the distance faster than he expected. He was struggling to parry her barrage of punches, feeling the heaviness of each punch in his bones. He summoned a giant worm that flew up from his cursed storage falling on top of her with its open maw. He lept back and was confused when she stood still as the worm curse swallowed her whole. "Strange. I thought she was-!" his thoughts were interrupted as the worm suddenly lunged at him despite him being its master.

His reflexes were fast enough to swipe it away with his weapon, sending it crashing into the wall, killing it. He took a second to breathe as a hand sprung from the curse's stomach like a zombie in an old horror movie. She was entirely unharmed as she made the hole wider for her to exit. "You really are full of surprises. Just how did you do that?" he asked her as she stepped fully out of the worm.

"I haven't done anything all that impressive yet, and really you haven't either," she said plainly with a bored expression. "Show me more of what you have."

A vein pulsed on his head. "Fine then, take this you witch!" shouted an enraged Geto as he sent another horde of curses of various sizes at the increasingly annoying redhead.

To his complete surprise however, she was not only able to summon several chains from her fingertips with no cursed energy, but when they all somehow struck all the curses, they all just stopped as if they were frozen. "So that's how she did it," he mumbled in awe to himself.

The curses then turned around to look at him, snapping the curse user out of his awe. Not wanting to repeat what just happened with the worm curse, he poured more cursed energy to control the curses once again. The energy of their master flowed through them causing them to freeze in place again.

Before they exploded in a gory display, raining blood and flesh falling on both of them.

"Well that was unexpected," smirked Makima, taking the time to wipe the blood off her glasses.

"They exploded?!" panicked Suguru as the blood stuck to his robes. "How was she able to control them to such an extent? They were my spirits and I'm not even defeated yet. How is she bypassing the basic laws of Jujutsu!?"

"Should I summon Tamamo-No-Mae? No, to activate Perfect Kitsune I need Tamamo to make physical contact with her. I can't risk losing her so early in this battle."

"{Bang!}" with another point of her finger, a hole was cleaved through the stone wall behind him missing him by a hair as it was followed by a loud crack that sounded like lightning. Suguru leaped backwards breathing heavily as he held the staff close to his chest. "If I don't come up with something soon, even if I kill her, I won't have enough spirits to repress Rika's host."

It was only getting worse for him. As it seemed the monkey girl got to his target, as Yuta leapt into view, landing a small distance behind the troublesome Redhead. She turned to face the boy, giving a thin smile to him, "Ah Yuta. I appreciate that you finally made it."

He didn't seem to want to look at her for some reason, he was just standing there with an unreadable expression on his face.

"Yuta? Is something wrong?" she asked, genuinely confused as to what happened. Did news of Geto arriving make him somber like this?

"Rika," he muttered, as the monstrous curse handed him a megaphone that was marked with the Inumaki clan. What is he…

And then he spoke…

---"{Walk}"---

Makima flinched at the relatively quiet command. Her eyes widened in shock as she began to start walking towards Yuta. "You…" she spoke in dazed horror at what he had done to her. "YUTA! RELEASE ME IMMEDIATELY!" she furiously screamed at him.

Yuta looked down again, conflicted about what he'd done. "Why did you say those things to Maki? She…she came to me crying."

"IS THIS BECAUSE OF THAT USELESS GIRL!?" Yuta looked up at her in shock as she moved closer to him. "SHE IS WEAK YUTA! WHY ARE YOU CARING SO MUCH FOR THAT ANT!? She then clutched her throat as she hacked up a cough. "And after all I've done for you."

Yuta's eyes hardened to meet her furious gaze full on. "How could you speak to someone like that? She's done nothing wrong to you. I knew you were dangerous, that's why you were locked up in the sealing room. Rika warned me and you controlled her, I make a good friend and you made her cry," he was now crying as she passed by him, staring face to face with the woman. "Walk Makima! Walk and never hurt anyone ever again!" he yelled right in her face.

Makima ground her teeth, glaring at him with an anger that made the air thick. Yuta clutched his head in mild discomfort, he got a headache all of a sudden. "I treated you right! I treated you better than anyone at my last job. Yuta Okkotsu, when I release myself, you will pay dearly for this." she growled as her head snapped forward to walk.

Makima kept walking further and further away, yet continued to hurl curses and insults that tore at his psyche. Yuta looked down, still holding his sword firmly despite his quivering lip. "Was that really the best decision Okkotsu?" asked Geto, retensing his stance. "Do you really think you can win with your goody two shoe morals alone?"

"No. Not just my morals," Rika stood over him, claws at the ready. "I have all my real friends supporting me! I won't lose to someone like you!"

Suguru grinned at the boy's naivety. "Excellent! Come at me then!"

------------------------

"How could he! How could he! HOW COULD HE!" rambled the Redhead loudly, trying to resist the urge to hyperventilate. She didn't like being controlled, NO, she hated it! More than anything in this cursed life of hers.

And him of all people! Stupid, stupid, stupid! How many times has she been trusting only to be stabbed in the back? Why couldn't she just keep her heart to herself?

No, it's not her fault, it's Satoru Gojo's fault. He was stronger than her and all those soothing words he said to her was just to make her more useful, more easy to manipulate. "That fucking snake!" she growled, "First I'll kill Yuta, then this foolish world. And finally, when this world is in flames from my genocide, then I will torture that snake of a human to death. Slowly, so very slowly," she mused, a sadistic smirk making itself known.

Yet now she could do nothing but walk for as long as this eternal command lasted. She could shoot herself in the foot or another limb to try and use the pain to release the hold. Probably not, she had no affinity for cursed energy so removing a limb might not be enough.

Should she call on that power?

What choice did she have? Better an evil that she knew well rather than something new and reckless.

Closing her eyes and clasping her hands in prayer, Makima began chanting in Mongolian. Her mind flickered into a spacious torch lit hut with a battle hardened man sitting on a throne of hide, leering at her with a look of pride and lust. Behind his throne, three sets of eyes glowed in the shadows. Makima spoke out loud while she recited something her big sister taught her.

"Reveal yourself, remnant of a devil long consumed. Rise from the depths of my mind, and conquer this world once more."

For those who wonder,

What happens when a word becomes synonymous with another? When words become so linked to one another they basically mean the same thing. How does this affect devils, whose powers derive from their words as much as the fear behind them? There is only one answer…

CONSUMPTION!

With a gross pop, her forehead was pierced open by her own brain matter. It came out as a long lumpy coil of flesh. When it exited her body entirely, it wrapped around her head in a perfect circle and formed a meaty halo that floated just above her head.

For although devils can't erase concepts like the Chainsaw Devil does, consuming a devil whole that is similar enough to their own fear, will assimilate their powers and strengths entirely. For power cannot be destroyed, only changed.

Her knees wobbled, the control of the cursed command wavering as she yelled from the excruciating pain that coursed through her head. It was a process she couldn't immediately recover from without someone to take the damage for her. All she could do was clench her head to attempt to stop more blood and brain from leaking out of the wound. It was all down to finding a solution.

And in an instant, she was here.

She was in a dead forest that resided in a lifeless tundra. The trees were bare of all their leaves, the grass dried and brown as the soft snow fell from the sky in a light flurry. This place was the embodiment of her, the deepest bowels that defined Control as Control and where all the devils that became a part of her lived… or used to.

You see, when a devil is consumed in whole, the manifestation of their will and identity are cast in this barren land where they continue to fight a losing war to free themselves or become the prominent definition. The result is almost the same, because once humans forget about you, not even a whisper of them is left to remember. Yet one remained, her oldest 'living' companion of both her life and this barren mindscape. The devil was galloping in place proudly yet directionless.

"Conquest," she spoke to the creature. The Devil stomped its front hoofs into the snow snorting out hot steam from its nostrils. The Conquest Devil took the form of a horse that stood taller and bulkier than any real horse ever could. Its twin tails were made of bullets and its body was made up of weapons from every era of history: Stones, Spears, Swords, Muskets, Bazookas, and an indescribable amount more.

Its head turned to look down at her, a long face made of fingers that bore empty holes of darkness where eyes should've been. "C0ntr0l?" questioned Conquest in a distorted voice.

"It's Makima now, it's, um, good to see you again Conquest," she spoke nervously as Conquest snorted angrily in her face, the hot steam sticking to her skin.

"A hum4n n@m3?!" Conquest raised its front legs in anger. "I5 th@t h0w y0u truly $ee y0ur$elf n0w? A #um@n!?" he yelled in anger, stomping the earth to let out his tantrum.

Makima raised her hands to meet his face, worriedly petting his face. "No no. It's not like that Conquest. It's just because of them that I-"

"Th@t y0u wh@+! c0n5um3d m3? f0rg0t @b0ut me? Th@t y0u $t1ll rem@1n 1n th@t d1$gu5t1ng f0rm @ft3r all the$e c3ntur135?!" he pulled away sharply, turning around to trot away from her.

"But I'm here to change!" she shouted back to him in a pleading tone. "I'm done with my sisters! I just need your help!"

The horse like devil paused mid-stride, turning his malformed head to her, a small white dot shining in his empty eye sockets. "...Y0u d0?"

"Yes. I need your help," she carefully spoke, approaching the stead. "I need your power. Please Conquest."

The white embers in his eyes shimmered at her pathetic begging, giving a wicked grin with his dagger filled teeth as he menacingly pranced to her. "𝐿𝑜𝑜𝓀 𝒽𝑜𝓌 𝓂𝑒𝑒𝓀 𝓎𝑜𝓊'𝓋𝑒 𝒷𝑒𝒸𝑜𝓂𝑒. 𝒩𝟢𝓌 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉'𝓈 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒸𝑜𝓃𝓉𝓇𝑜𝓁 𝒹𝑒𝓋𝒾𝓁 𝐼'𝓂 𝓊𝓈𝑒𝒹 𝓉𝟢." he sneered, his voice suddenly stabilizing into one that sounded refined and cold. He raised his left leg up on her shoulder, causing a shiver to run down her very spine. "𝐼 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝒿𝓊𝓈𝓉 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒻𝟢𝓇 𝓎𝟢𝓊. 𝒜 𝓉𝑒𝒸𝒽𝓃𝒾𝓆𝓊𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝓌𝒾𝓁𝓁 ravage 𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓎 𝒻𝒾𝒷𝑒𝓇 𝑜𝒻 𝓎𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝒷𝑒𝒾𝓃𝑔," he whispered breathily, opening his mouth to lick her cheek with his tongue that took the appearance of a saliva coated whip that made her quiver even more and close her eyes.

"W-what is its name?" A piece of sentient shrapnel forcefully opened her eye to stare deeply into the white fire in his eyes.

---"𝒫𝒶𝓃𝒹𝑜𝓇𝒶"---

"𝐼𝓉'𝓈 𝑜𝓃𝓁𝓎 𝒷𝑒𝒸𝒶𝓊𝓈𝑒 𝑜𝒻 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓈 𝓌𝑜𝓇𝓁𝒹 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉... mature 𝒷𝑜𝒹𝓎 𝑜𝒻 𝓎𝑜𝓊𝓇𝓈 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉 𝒾𝓉 𝓌𝒾𝓁𝓁 𝓌𝑜𝓇𝓀. "𝒮𝑜 𝒿𝓊𝓈𝓉 𝒷𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝒹 𝓁𝒾𝓉𝓉𝓁𝑒 𝑔𝒾𝓇𝓁 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓊𝓈𝑒𝒹 𝓉𝑜 𝒷𝑒. 𝐿𝒾𝓈𝓉𝑒𝓃 𝓉𝑜 𝓂𝑒... 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓎𝑜𝓊'𝓁𝓁 𝒷𝑒 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝑒, 𝑀𝓎 𝐿𝒾𝓉𝓉𝓁𝑒 𝒲𝒾𝓁𝒹𝒻𝓁𝑜𝓌𝑒𝓇." he spoke in a tone that sounded like a parent talking to a dumb child. He towered above his victim, nudging her head possessively as he 'encouraged' her to make a decision.

"I-i'll do it. I don't want to be controlled again," stuttered Makima, wanting nothing more than to be rid of this reminder of her past.

"𝒪𝒻 𝒸𝑜𝓊𝓇𝓈𝑒 𝑜𝒻 𝒸𝑜𝓊𝓇𝓈𝑒, 𝒾𝓉 𝒾𝓈 𝓎𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝒹𝑒𝓈𝓉𝒾𝓃𝓎 𝒶𝒻𝓉𝑒𝓇 𝒶𝓁𝓁. 𝒴𝑜𝓊'𝓋𝑒 𝓁𝒾𝓋𝑒𝒹 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓇 𝒶 𝓉𝒽𝑜𝓊𝓈𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓎𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓈 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒽𝒶𝓋𝑒 𝒶𝓁𝓌𝒶𝓎𝓈 𝑒𝒾𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇 𝒷𝑒𝑒𝓃 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒸𝑜𝓃𝓉𝓇𝑜𝓁𝓁𝑒𝒹 𝑜𝓇 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒸𝑜𝓃𝓉𝓇𝑜𝓁𝓁𝑒𝓇. 𝒴𝑜𝓊 𝒹𝑜𝓃'𝓉 𝓌𝒶𝓃𝓉 𝓉𝑜 𝒷𝑒 𝓉𝒶𝓀𝑒𝓃 𝒶𝒹𝓋𝒶𝓃𝓉𝒶𝑔𝑒 𝑜𝒻 𝒶𝑔𝒶𝒾𝓃... 𝓇𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉?"

"I don't! I don't want to be taken advantage of again," she whimpered, thankful when Conquest took his weight off her.

"𝒯𝒽𝑒𝓃 𝓇𝓊𝓃 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝑒, 𝑀𝓎 𝐿𝒾𝓉𝓉𝓁𝑒 𝒲𝒾𝓁𝒹𝒻𝓁𝑜𝓌𝑒𝓇. {𝒫𝒶𝓃𝒹𝑜𝓇𝒶!}" he declared as a blinding white geyser of light burst out of his eyes and into the darkened sky, causing the stormy heavens to crack and bend unnaturally.

Outside of her mental realm, Makima was gasping in pain as her irises glowed with a white hot fire that was absolute agony. The whites of her eyes were turning black from the heat that freed her body from its command to walk as her legs finally gave out. She huddled close to herself, head pressed into the ground as she howled in this seemingly never ending pain.

Ding!

Like a pin dropping, she was silent. Her halo began to spin. Her skull melded over her forehead to heal the wound. She arched her back in a fluid motion that caused a set of feathery wings with an impressive wingspan to sprout from her back.

She stood up with a neutral expression on her face, eyes hidden in shadows. Her large wings flapped once and she was in the air…

------------------------

Meanwhile

"Wonderful! Wonderful!" shouted Geto blocking the barrage of rapid sword swings from the boy. "I'm so incredibly touched young Yuta. You rushed here in the heat of battle to satiate your need for honor, and yet you're still fighting to your dying breath for that monkey with no tits! How noble! How grand!"

"Enough already! I'll beat you to a pulp!" yelled Yuta, attempting to cleave through his weapon to no avail. The chains on the nunchucks wrapped around his blade, spinning him around like a child before being released to get slammed through several walls. It was only because of Rika catching him that he didn't concuss himself even more. Rika lifted him back to his feet as he regripped his sword, grimacing as Yuta fought the numbness that plagued his hands.

This fight had only just started and it was taking a serious toll on his body. Even though he and Rika were fighting in sync, the curse user was still beating both of them up badly without even showing his special grade cursed spirit. He was taking his sweet time to toy with them.

Waltzing through the rubble, Suguru grinned in satisfaction, continuing to close the distance between him and Yuta. "You know Yuta, it's quite a shame I have to kill you. To see that you've developed so well in only a few months is astounding, you truly are a prodigy."

Yuta gritted his teeth, raising his sword to swing down on him, pumping an intense amount of cursed energy to finish this. Suguru hardly acknowledged him, blocking the strike with a single section of his staff. The sword crumbled to bits on impact, surprising Yuta.

"However, prodigy or not, experience trumps all," he smiled, luring Yuta in to punch him with his cursed energy. So when Yuta tried to use black flash on his face, he braced his hand to catch the fist squeezing it hard enough to nearly break his bones. "Gojo may call you a special grade. But even with Rika, I conclude you're at best you're a 1st grade sorcerer. Which is good, excellent even, but the gap between 1st and special grade is simply unfathomable," Geto summoned several centipedes to bind the dazed Yuta down, readying Playful Cloud by whirling the cursed weapon to a red blur. "Let me show you Yuta, the difference between you and a man who shuns the monkeys! {Red Velvets Sky!}"

He released the last segment of Playful Cloud, making it fly outwards at maximum velocity into Yuta's head. The sheer amplified force of him and his weapon easily able to send Yuta flying through another cluster of stone walls. Unlike last time however, Suguru could already feel Yuta slip entirely into unconsciousness, the immense cursed energy he was leaking fading away.

Geto admired his handiwork at the other collection of holes in the walls, smirking as he realized Yuta was still alive, albeit barely. "What a perfect display," he praised himself as he began walking through the holes of rubble, "First my prize made my poor match up walk away eternally, and now he lyes defeated with a delicious fruit for me to consume," he rattled on, licking his lips when Yuta was just in his grasp.

A perfect victory, except…

For the sun was disappearing.

He looked down at himself and the ground, confused as everything around him was bathed in shadow. Geto tentatively looked up to where the sun once was, but only saw an eclipse of all things. Yes, the sun still shone, but something high above him was blocking it. "What the…?"

"{Angel's Usage: 1,000 Years}" Vocalized the voice from the heavens. Materializing from the black mass were three identical beings with white faces and outstretched arms held out their arms like on the cross. Like a light flickering on, the sun roared back to life this time twice as bright. To Geto, it was as if this light was burning the very sky itself.

A blood red spear left her grasp like a god smiting down their enemies with lightning.

On instinct, one of his trump cards, the one special grade he still held in his collection, the human like Tamamo-No-Mae, summoned itself beside him. In one motion she pushed Suguru out of the way from something he couldn't process. It was only when he blinked again did he see what had happened.

Tamamo, one of only sixteen special grade curses in the world.

WAS COMPLETELY OBLITERATED FROM THE WORLD OF THE LIVING.

The gargantuan shockwave that followed was like that of a huge military grade explosive, sending Geto tumbling up into the sky. Despite his confusion and loss of direction, Geto was able to get his balance and summon two small flying curses that looked like manta rays under his feet that helped him fly above the air.

Trying to collect himself, he looked back down where he had stood just a few seconds before and saw a massive crater with a fresh fire smoldering on the bottom. Its fuel being the burnt remains of the curse of legends. A nasty scowl etched on his face, his hands rabidly running through his hair. Who could've caused this?!

"I missed," she calmly stated as the wind whipped through her hair. "Maybe I should-urghk!" she hacked up in a coughing fit, a disgusting feeling crawling its way up her throat. Makima clasped her mouth feeling this vile disgustingly rise up the back of her mouth. Her hand did nothing to stop it. A thick mass of chunky blackened blood was vomited out of her mouth as it ran down her chin. This power was fading from her body, the three humanoids were already gone and the black circle that briefly eclipsed the sun was being peppered with holes of radiant sunshine. Her wings shrunk into her back making her fall below to the scarred earth.

Without her will, her control, chains began to crawl out of her stomach and descend down her lower half. They tightened around her work pants, slashing bits of cloth off to force her to feel it's cold metal on her skin. She clenched her teeth to hold down the yell that wanted to be known as she further descended.

"It was her!" yelled Suguru at the Redhead falling from the sky. When would he be rid of her! He mentally ordered the mantas to cleave upwards through the air to meet her. He would strike her down himself this time, no back steps!

He squinted his eyes as the cold winter air nipped at his exposed pupils. She was saying something he couldn't make out at first, but as they closed the distance he could see she was stretching her arm out to him. Confusingly she held out a single finger in front of his face.

Finally, he was close enough to hear her, but he would soon wish he hadn't. For she spoke one word that made his world go completely dark…

---"{Fall}"---

Grim memories long in the past flooded his five senses.

The Taste of consuming every disgusting spirit, a taste that could only be described as a wet rag.

The Smell of blood from the girl he failed to protect.

The Touch of cold metal cleaving easily through his flesh followed by a bone shattering kick to the face.

The Sound of clapping from people who lacked empathy for life.

And then… The Sight of his best friend holding the body of the girl they had both sworn to protect. The Sight of his uncaring eyes that bore him away from the society he had spent his life serving. The Si-

"Geto," whispered Gojo, his voice echoing around the black abyss that they shared, his shimmering blue eyes looking down at his tainted soul.

"Gojo I-"

"No…wait," he held out a hand, his brow furrowed in thought. The little warmth in his eyes was replaced not by hatred, but a cool collected apathy.

"I'm sorry, who are you? I don't seem to recognize you anymore?"

Geto was being pulled away from his best friend, his eyes stretching as wide as possible, entirely unblinking as his worst nightmare unfolded before him.

That for all that he has done for him and the world, he would be destined to be forgotten and tossed out.

So he wept. And when a man's mind weeps.

His body shall fall soon after.

------------------------

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" screamed Suguru as he snapped back to reality, being greeted by a woman using her momentum to make him have an untimely head first collision with the ground. The fall wasn't as fast as he had expected, but he had nothing to brace his face from the stone, the Redhead having discarded his weapon and ripping his arms up painfully behind his back like he was a human surfboard. He screamed louder, grimfully counting the handful of seconds he had left.

Four

Three

Two

One

CRUNCH!

That was the sound of both the cartilage in his nose snapping and the shattering of teeth made themselves known to his ringing ears. His entire body was seething in pain from his head to his toes. He was just conscious enough to feel the control sorcerer clamber off his broken body. His face was still in the ground, but from what he could hear, she seemed to be faring much worse than he was.

She didn't even try to stop the vile sludge from erupting from her mouth as she stumbled only a little further from the man made crater before she fell to hands and knees, vomiting all over the ground beneath her. "He better be dead," she mentally groaned as her darkened liquids soaked her hands. "I'm…very much regretting this."

Her body would not let her idle mind rest however, as just like before chains erupted from her stomach this time wrapping upwards instead of downward. The metallic chains slithered under her shirt, making her shiver from not only the coldness but from dread. The conquering chains showed no remorse for the bare skin they were claiming. They tightened fully around her midsection. They chilled the skin that lay above her beating heart, and greedily squeezed her breasts like a perverted vagabond.

With excruciating effort, the curse user was able to clamber his bloody body on its feet taking in ragged breaths as he stomped up the tiny crater. He looked to his left and gave a weary smile as his torturer was on all fours with her back turned to him. He couldn't give a single damn about what she was puking or why she was convulsing, after what he went through, mercy was the last thing on his mind. He snapped his fingers, summoning a school of glowing swordfish aimed directly at her. With a second snap, they flew at their unaware target.

From what seemed to be her tailbone, four bulky whip like chains emerged and met the swordfish. Like a samurai cutting through unarmed peasants, the razor like tails cut the curses to chunks of foul smelling meat. He was losing it so much right now. Especially when she turned around on all fours and glared at him like an animal with rabies, the whites and blacks of her eyes swapped in color.

"What a monster you've become," he mumbled, watching as the tips of the four tails grew and shifted in volume into the absolute last thing he was expecting in a fight between sorcerers… "G-guns?!"

"{Gun's Usage! Automatic Machine Guns!}" growled this quadrupedal woman in a congested voice, the tail guns finished their metamorphosis, and indeed became four AK-47's clicking and clacking together over her hunched over body, ready to unleash their brutal salvo.

At this point, Suguru Geto gave an exhausted laugh at how much of an emotional rollercoaster today has been. "HAHAHA! Is that all you got!" he yelled as he laughed, wiping the blood from his brow. "What's next going to weaponize your eyes? Your hair? No wait! Your own damn blood!?" he cackled breathily.

And as if the Buddha himself broke his vows to laugh at his dismay, he gawked at those twisted white flames in her eyes as she bellowed in a gravelly voice, "{Blood's Usage! Exploding Blood Bullets!}" The machine guns roared to life as their bloody payload took off from the rifles.

Suguru Geto, a special grade sorcerer who was now looking at a one monster firing squad, took the time to give a very unamused look that would remind people of the same look you get if you sniff something moldy or rotten. "Really…"

The booming of explosions made his mind go right back to survival. Quickly clapping his together, he summoned the Cyclops Monk to play as his temporary wall. It was a great pity to hear his first grade one curse scream as it was torn to shreds by the explosive bullets, but with the extra time he was able to summon one thousand smaller curses to make a wall of living flesh.

So that when the giant fell dead on the ground, he took the chance leep as high as he could up in the air to use gravity to fall on her. The guns aimed upwards and fired upon the falling black mass like artillery, each shot blowing away at least 50 curses at a time. He just had to close the distance.

While he was falling, Makima raised her head to the sky as more vile ooze poured from her mouth like a disgusting fountain. It sloshed over her face like liquid metal, running her glasses off her face, hitting the moist ground. Geto saw this and knew he only had one shot at this now her vision was impaired. The booming intensified yet he remained focused as he mustered all he could to use his ultimate technique.

Suguru now broke ahead of his living shield now just outside an arms reach of her cast covered face. The bullets whizzed by his body just barely missing as they fired randomly. Her eyes were covered in this darkened metal, this was it! All the curses behind him and all three thousand four hundred and sixty-one curses inside him rallied to his final encore in a swirling cry of anguish.

He closed the distance, the guns and bullets now behind him as he began to push his arms to her sealed head. Now was it! Here and now! "{Maxi-!" the purple cursed energy roared and spun, "{-Mum-!}"

Then, time seemed to stand still. His valiant expression so proudly displayed on the curse user's face…

"{CHAINSAAAAW MAAAAAAANNN!!}"

Makima's arms shot up too fast for him to dodge, both of them armed with roaring chainsaws bisecting her arms. They met his robed flesh at the shoulder, ripping, tearing, sawing through marrow and muscle with ease.

It wasn't painful at first. The shock and adrenaline only made the pain seem like a mere flu shot.

But don't fret, he will feel it soon enough.

As his arms slapped down to the damp floor. The fingers still twitching at the action he was about to perform…

------------------------

"Why wasn't it working… I won… right?" he mentally mumbled. He was staring at what was just a moment before a black dome, now it had wide slits for her white eyes to shine through. He had no time to even think of reacting as a gun tail clubbed him in the head midair. His broken face broke even more causing him to spit out more teeth and blood as he rolled back in several unwanted flips that twisted his ankle in the process.

The Maximum Uzumaki, now without his input, had nowhere to expel the accumulated power. This caused a chain reaction that made it explode up in the air like a purple firework star. Yet so powerful was the cursed energy that the earth shook all the same, the walls went wobbling threatening to collapse to dust. All that power he stored for a whole life, was gone in one explosion. He was powerless, yet she wasn't phased, glaring at him with her animalistic stare.

The explosion sent dust into his eyes, making his vision not only begin swimming, but also remove all the color that was in the world. She, no IT, began prowling towards him, Its hands now hoofs moistened by blood. He tried to crawl back onto his feet, but he couldn't get his hands under him for some reason. He felt so cold. So very tired. All he wanted to do was close his eyes, just for a quick second.

But… He Refused.

"NO!" he roared back against the impending coldness of death.

"I… have to keep living! If not for me, for Nanako, Mimiko. For all of them!" he cried with a renewed fire in his soul as the mental image of his found family stood in front of him. It gave Suguru the strength to lift his chin up and down to crawl away from this monster.

It did nothing to stop it, only delaying the inevitable. No matter how much he would gain in moving away, it would close in faster, lessening the gap between them. It was like nature was taking over, removing the humanity from both of them, because predators never leave injured food to just crawl away. Suguru had to keep trying! To live to fight another day!

As he moved his chin down he heard first a yelp then a screeching cry of agony. He momentarily moved his eyes to his right side and saw that he was back at the same holes in the walls that he was once so proud of making. The scream was coming from inside them, and that's what made him overwhelmed with fear.

It was Yuta.

A chain at some point coiled out to the unconscious teen taking the chance to pierce his thigh. The pain must've woken him up as he was now struggling to rip the chain out of his leg. Yuta looked pale as his resistance began to falter, the chain was glowing with some kind of blue glow.

"Oh no…" was all he could say as Yuta forcibly put his hands in a position that only the most skilled sorcerers could use.

He knew… he knew in his state. There was no escaping this…

"{Domain Expansion!}" shouted Yuta, causing the amount of cursed energy the devil possessed to swell to a tipping point.

CLAP!

"{Twisted Toxic Love}"

With her as the epicenter, a dark mass of screaming darkness poured out of her, encasing Suguru in her disgrace of a domain. He fell, oh how he fell. There was nothing to even look at, only the complete lack of all of his senses, even how long he had been falling for.

After what felt like both eternity and no time at all, doors began to open up from under him. There were more doors than he could possibly count. He blinked and realized that he was on green grass the sky covered in an endless sea of doors upon doors.

Rolling over he could see his executioner on top of a hill, looking down on him.

A voice echoed through the halls of doors and plains that wasn't his executioner. It blared…

*𝒲𝒜𝑅𝒩𝐼𝒩𝒢!*

*𝒲𝒜𝑅𝒩𝐼𝒩𝒢!*

𝐵𝐸 𝒜𝐹𝑅𝒜𝐼𝒟...!

𝐹𝒪𝑅 𝒯𝐻𝐸𝑅𝐸 𝐼𝒮 𝒩𝒪𝒯𝐻𝐼𝒩𝒢 𝒴𝒪𝒰 𝒞𝒜𝒩 𝒟𝒪!

As monsters peered out the doors from the sky, Suguru Geto realized fully…

That This Was Hell.

======================

Oh yeah… I'm definitely gonna have to make this an M rating.

Anyways! That was the chapter! Makima has a HORRIBLE Horse Ex that's using trauma on her and nobody's having a good time.

Also THIS domain expansion is an evil parallel to Yuta's 'Authentic Mutual Love'.

As for 'The Cost' of using those techniques…
