I opened my eyes as a beautiful chandelier casting warm golden light greeted me.
Where am I?
Did I survive?
I was shot by three bullets in the chest, one going through the heart; no way I am alive.
Then is this heaven?
But... I don't think I will get a place in heaven.
I was worried.
Then is it hell?
I don't remember hell being like this anywhere.
Wanting to find answers, I looked at my surroundings, full of worries. Sitting in a king-sized round bed, I could see a luxurious and exquisitely decorated room with an expensive-looking library opposite the bed, a study desk next to the library, a huge mirror designed with gold and silver, a shiny wooden table, and a few chairs.
Definitely not somewhere I had ever been.
Well, at least this is not hell.
I confirmed as a small weight from my heart disappeared.
Then did I really get a place in heaven?
I was quite unsure as the weight of worry suddenly increased.
I walked outside the bed towards the closed window near to me.
Slowly and silently I opened the window with a heart full of worry, but what I saw shocked me to the core.
I rubbed my eyes in surprise as I couldn't believe the scene in front of me.
Outside the window, I could see a huge, wide, and tall building, bigger than the biggest I had ever seen. But what surprised me was the boys, girls, men, and women. Many of them had holograms in their hands; some could be seen flying, while further away, I could see long things like trains flying in the sky. Not only that, each and every one of them was handsome or beautiful with no exception. But the main thing was the badge they were wearing... I was more than familiar with them.
I unconsciously took a few steps back from the window as I took the support of the bed to stop myself from falling.
"Don't tell me....."
I muttered as I tried to make my heartbeat and breathing sync.
With a mind full of questions, I took a look out of the window again, checking whether I have tricked myself.
I reincarnated.
This is the only thing I could think.
But the world I reincarnated into... I was more than familiar with this world.
After all, this is the world of Xeries Online, a game I played and had helped to develop.
I sighed at my thoughts as I wanted to figure out another thing.
Whose body did I reincarnate into?
I walked towards the luxurious mirror clad in gold and silver with weak steps.
I stood in front of the mirror as I looked in the mirror.
There stood a tall boy with black hair and blue ocean-like eyes with sword-like eyebrows. He had pale yet flawless skin with a small yet sharp nose and delicate lips. A chiseled body and a weird aura around him. He had an unnatural charm and features.
Looking at the boy in the mirror, I questioned whether it was me or not, 'Am I in a dream?'
I pinched my arms as the person in the mirror did the same, and I felt the pain.
I am not dreaming.
Was I shocked by how handsome the boy was?
Well... kind of... but that was a second ago; currently, I am shocked because of the identity of the boy in the mirror or me.
How could I not be?
After all, the boy in the mirror is none other than the Vampire Prince, also one of the main villains of both the game and the novel. Xeries Online was a game based on a novel.
Suddenly, a sweet voice of a woman appeared inside my mind.
