Cursed Trisno!

Ring, ring, ring, the sound of a phone rang. Hiroki rummaged his pockets to grab his phone and picked up the call.

"Hello," said Hiroki.

"You did a great job," said Trisno on the other side of the call.

"Thank you, and please keep your promise-," said Hiroki, flustered while holding his anger.

"But you need to be more careful. You are acting out of the character," said Trisno before Hiroki managed to finish his sentence.

"For your information, I'm not an actor. I'm just a voice actor. I'm not good at acting. What do you expect me to do?"

"Are you sure you want to continue to talk to me like this?"

Suddenly, Hiroki realized his arrogant behavior and kept bowing while apologizing, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry-."

"That's better," said Trisno with a satisfied tone.

"Where is my wife?!" Shouted Hiroki, impatient. "I want to talk to her!"

"Easy there. First, finish your job."

"I want to talk to my wife! Is she alright?" Shouted Hiroki, impatient.

"Reassure, nothing happens. She is alright and is with me here, watching you."

"Give her the phone, please. I want to hear her voice!" Said Hiroki pledging.

"What if I refuse?" said Trisno smirked.

"Please, I want to know if she is alright," said Hiroki begging.

"Then…" Trisno walked toward a brown hair girl, who sat down on a chair far away from the monitoring glass and handed over the phone.

She grabbed the phone and rushed toward the monitoring glass. She looked down at Hiroki's figure, who didn't realize his wife was watching him from above and yelled, "Hiro-Kun! Hiro-Kun!" She slid down from the glass and sat on the floor. She burst into tears and kept wailing.

"Yume! Yume!" Shouted Hiroki across the phone. "Shhh, calm down. Calm down. Everything will be alright. Nothing would happen, kay?" Hiroki tried to calm Yume from her walling.

Yume calmed down and said, "What would happen to me? Are you going to save me, Hiro-Kun?"

"Nothing would happen to you, kay? I'm coming to save you," said Hiroki, flustered as he tried to calm Yume.

Trisno approached Yume and snatched the phone back. "You better do your job properly, or your wife will pay for your mistake." He gently grabbed Yume's chin, and forcefully turned her face toward him.

"Say, how about the one inside her womb first?" Yume widened her eyes as she listened to Trisno's words; unbearable tears rolled down her cheeks.

"YOU BASTARD!" Yelled Hiroki across the phone.

"Shhh. You shouldn't wake her, or you would lose your child." Trisno let out an evil laugh and ended the call.

Hiroki looked at his phone, dejected, and unable to believe what he just heard. "This is a disaster," mumbled Hiroki while he put his phone inside his pocket. "Why did this need to happen to me?"

Yuu rustled her blanket and opened her eyes; she glanced around the room, saw Hiroki's dispirited figure, and quietly observed his back.

Hiroki made a gesture as he wiped his tears using his arms and turned around. He saw Yuu's eyes and slowly approached her.

"You are awake?" Said Hiroki while trying hard to hold his trembling voice.

"Are you on call just now?" Asked Yuu.

Hiroki was a bit startled but tried to keep his composure. He looked at Yuu's eyes and saw her looking straight at his eyes.

"N-No?" Said Hiroki stumbled on his words.

"I shouldn't ask you anymore. They must high-jacked your phone to eavesdropping our conversation." Yuu turned her gaze away from Hiroki and stopped at a digital clock on the wall. The clock showed 08:37.

Suddenly, Hiroki realized the time and said, "Y-You must be hungry. I-I will start preparing dinner." He walked toward the bedroom door but stopped.

"I will take a bath first," said Yuu while getting out of the bed and headed toward the bathroom.

Hiroki went inside the kitchen and started to prepare for dinner.

Yuu stripped her pajama in front of the bathroom and went inside. The shower turned on as it detected Yuu. She stood there as the warm water running through her slim body.

"Z… Y… Z… Yuu!" Shouted Jer. "It's finally connected!"

"Jer," mumbled Yuu.

"The peace faction is really the worst!" Said Jer, hysterically. Yuu imagined Jer spit saliva on the floor and giggled.

*It's not a laughing matter, Yuu! They drugged you with cocaine! The worst part is it was a highly concentrated one!"

Yuu let out a big sigh and said, "No wonder my brain is so fuzzy." She pressed the edge of her forehead and continued, "I wonder if this is a dream?"

"Well, too bad. This is the reality. They transformed that space to identically like our apartment, but they left out your secret research room and me."

"They won't be able to put you inside this fake space. As you are living inside my earrings," said Yuu while touching her silver earring.

"Oho?" Said Jer in a funny falsetto. Yuu imagined Jer with a thick black mustache and a round spec while making an 'Oh?' face. She giggled again. "When did you realize that this is a fake space?"

"It's the bookshelf," answered Yuu instantly and continued, "It's a fake bluff for others to not realize that my research room is behind it."

"No wonder you stood there and stared at the bookshelf. For a moment, I was panicked."

"How are things in the apartment? Anything happens?"

"After you got abducted, I launched a force lock on the research room and currently copying your data to my cloud."

"How many days left before you finish copying?"

"2 more days."

"Then, after you finish the moving, delete all my data in the research room."

"Understood."

"And one more thing, please wake Hiroki for me."

"Will do that."

Knock, knock, knock, the bathroom door was being knocked.

"Have you finished your bath, Yuu? Dinner is ready."

"Okay, coming now." Yuu turned off the shower and turned toward the bathroom door.

"I'm counting on you," whispered Yuu, and she left the bathroom.
