1 Death smiles at us all

I was at my desk when a new soul landed infront of me, he was white humanoid cat. humanoid souls were guaranteed tier four. I couldn't help but feel a little envious, after all, I was a beautiful young lady in life but my soul ended up being a tier two slime creature. I guess i'm quite lucky to have the job I do considering my appearance.

Anyway, the humanoid cat looked very confused, but I had a job to do. I asked him to place his hand on the orb and tell me his name. He looked very nervous but in spite of that he followed my instructions. He told me his name was "Sanoka Gyles." I thought it to be an odd name but it didn't really matter, or so I thought. The timid little kitty turned the orb pitch black, in fact it began to crack a little. I shouted at him to take his hand off the orb as they were very hard to find and repair and I wasn't about to lose my job. But anyway. I told the cat to remain seated, then I contacted the head office. They told me to sit and wait and not to let him leave. This sounded suspicious but yet again the thought of losing my job terrified me. A humanoid lady much like the cat man had appeared. She had giant wavy horns protruding from her temples and had long brown, fuzzie goat legs. She was wearing a flowing black dress with a white collar and by the looks of it, her soul was that of a gazelles. She greeted the kitty and touched his shoulder and just like that they were gone. It had taken me a little to comprehend the situation when I realised that, that was Evermore's personal secratary. I quickly typed in his name(Sanoka Gyles) he had died at the age of thirty-two, someone had kidnapped him and torchered him to death. No wonder he was jumpier than most new souls. I couldn't help but wonder what would happen to that poor cat.
