"Sol!"

"What?!"

"SOL!"

"WHAT?!"

"SOL!"

"WHAT DO YOU WANT KAI!?"

"Can we get some food?" Kai looked at Sol, a bright, pleading smile on his face.

"Really?"

"Yeah, I'm hungry!" Kai whined, slouching as he walked.

Sol pressed his hand against his forehead, "Are you kidding?"

He looked at the ground, "Yeah... I didn't have breakfast. I was too busy trying to wake up."

"Okay fine, I'll give you that."

Both of them walked through the Square and found a place to sit down.

They sat down at one of the tables in the square that was closest to Crusty Sean's.

Sol looked at Kai, "I'm going to go get us some food to eat. I'll be right back, so you stay right here."

"Okay, but I was thinking about the team name thing!" Kai's eyes lit up.

Sol turned around, looking at him with sarcasm in his eyes. "Oh have you?"

"Yeah! I was thinking, The Octo Squad!" Kai said, flamboyantly waving his hands towards Sol. 

"Kai, I'm not an Octo." Sol's brow furrowed. 

"Yeah, but I am!" Kai smiled, his eyes wide and looking for approval.

"That doesn't make any sense! You know what, we'll talk about this later." Sol walked off into the distance to go over to get some food from Crusty Sean's.

Meanwhile, Kai got up to go explore more of Inkopolis. While he was running around, he ran into another team of two. There was an Octoling and a Inkling standing by the lobby doors.

The Octo's hair was pink and worn up in a high ponytail. She wore the light bombers jacket with white headphones.

The squid's hair was yellow and she wore it down. Her bangs highlighted her features, and a bobble hat rested on her head. Her top was a  gray long-sleeved shirt with stripes.

"Oh? Hi! I'm Star, and this is Niki! And we're Team Duo!" She bounced up and down, excited to meet someone new.

"Hello!" he waved to the both of them, "I'm Kai and that's a really cool team name! So you are a team of two as well? Me and my buddy Sol are looking for two more members...maybe... you can join?"

Niki looked him dead in the eyes, "No."

"Aww why not?" Star asked.

"Well first off, we can't just let a random stranger and his friend join our team."

"I guess that's fair," Star let out a sigh.

"Well we should get going, come on Star." Niki started to make her way to the Turf Lobby, not looking back once.

Star looked at Kai as she followed Niki into the Turf Lobby, "Well... hopefully we will see you around, Kai!" She smiled.

"Of course! Well, bye!" Kai waved at her as she walked away.

As Kai waved goodbye he heard another voice in the distance.

"Kai! There you are! I've been looking for you everywhere. I thought I told you to stay back at the table!" Sol fumed.

"Oh... right. Sorry about that." Kai laughed nervously.

"Forget it. Anyways, I just bought your usual. Come on, hurry up and eat it before the maps update. I'm really looking forward to battling in Arowana Mall!"

Kai raised up his fork, "Ok, I'll do my best!"
