He couldn't get her out of his head. He didn't even know her name, but he knew he wanted to see her again.
It took him a few days, but he finally saw her in the school library. She was reading a book and had a peaceful look on her face.
He walked up to her, his usual confident self, and asked, "What are you reading?"
The girl looked up, surprised to see him there. "It's a book about love," she said softly.
He scoffed. "Love? That's not my thing."
The girl looked at him with a sad expression. "Why not? Love is a beautiful thing."
He didn't know how to respond. He had never thought about love before. It was just another word to him, nothing special.
