1 Episode 1: This is not what I expected...

"Bang, bang!"

"Please, spare me...." - an old man crawling up to a shadow just to see a gun pointing at his face.

"..."

"BANG!" - The last bullet right through his head. The shadow slowly walks away in the night, leaving the corpse in the middle of the street.

It is now 1 AM, there is no one around at this time except for two people (or one?). The shadow quickly moves in the night to the safe point. He is ready to report back to the higher up about the mission.

"Mana Recall" - the spell is cast while he is leaving the scent. Every mana bullet that was shot earlier together with fingerprints on the corpse are completely removed.

"Code name J - mission completed. Please confirm" - J talks through the mana channel

"This is Colonel Devin. I have confirmed the death of our target this time. You will be rewarded accordingly. Good work, as usual, son" - Colonel Devin speaks through the channel.

J was an orphan when he was little. His parents were killed in an accident, or at least that was what he believed so. In fact, his parents both worked as spies for the Empire. Any rotten politicians and people who wanted to get to the throne through dirty works or money were targeted and killed by them. However, they were killed during a mission to help evacuate the princess to avoid an assassination attempt from the opposite party. At the end of the day, they were remembered as heroes of the nation, but no one knew that they secretly had a son except for a one really close friend of theirs...

"Dad, please refrain from using emotions in this conversation. Other people will think that you are being biased." - J complains

"Hahaha! If you are my son, you ARE my son! Who dares to question this Colonel?" - He laughs out loud.

"Ok... Anyway, please inform the next mission for me." - J quickly shifts the conversation.

"Details will be given to you tomorrow morning. There is a place that we want you to go to. No assassination, No poisoning whatsoever, No kidnapping, etc." - Devin responds.

"This is the first time I have heard of it. What kind of spy mission does not require bloodshed? I will wait until morning then. Please allow me to leave, Colonel." - J smirks back after listening to what his father said.

"You are free to go."

"Colonel, are you sure J will be able to handle this mission? We understand that he is the strongest spy we have created so far, but this one might be a little bit out of hand for him." - A staff member asks Devin.

"Do not worry, Cassandra. I took him home after his parents passed away. I knew that kid better than anyone else. Right now, he is our only hope for that mission. With his current knowledge and power, he will at least survive in that environment for sure." - Devin looks at J through the screen with pride in his eye.

Except for Devin, no one ever has a chance to look at J's true face. He always covers himself with a mask showing only his ruby eyes to the public. Knowing his parents' background, Devin does not want to reveal J to anyone either as he clearly understands that doing so will only bring J unnecessary dangers. That is why he kept J's identity only to himself, and no one else is allowed to know that.

Morning comes, and J is getting ready in his room located somewhere near the city. J is now 25, a short black hair male with ruby eyes glowing in the night. After the last mission, he was rewarded with tons of money transferred directly to his account. This is common to J as he received the same thing all the time.

"30 million Soreni. Not too bad for a single target." - Soreni, a type of currency in the country, where people use it for several reasons. Poor people use it to exchange for food. Wealthy people use it for business. Besides that, Soreni can also be used to exchange for power, magic, mana, and all kinds of enchantment that can empower one person to the next level. The higher level the of power, the more Soreni needed to spend to achieve that level.

"Ding! Mission arrive, Mr. J" - a letter arrives through a mana channel and delivers to J's hand. J opens and reads the letter right away.

"Hmm... Protect and improve the target? What does Dad mean?"

Reading further into the letter he realizes that the target that his dad wants him to protect is not a person, but an entire magic school. He cannot believe in his eye after confirming the identity of the target several times.

"WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THIS? Loran Magic School? Like the central Loran school that many students go to every single year? What does that have to do with Dad? What does he want me to protect there?" - J silently curses his dad in his mind.

"Blessing of the Soul? That's the reward for this? Like for real? Am I not looking at the wrong thing?" - J cannot believe his eye when he looks at the reward. Blessing of the Soul is a title as well as an object that allows a person to gain the power of the Soul. This is one of the Exclusive Power that can be achieved either through being loyal to one single god or it can be passed down from the previous owner as long as the god knows who the next person will be. The power allows a person to look at the past of the opponents, changing the event that happened in the past that can impact the present and future. Depending on how the Blessing is used that the opponent can be instantly dead or change his/her personality.

"Well, this really is not what I expected from him. Anyway, since Dad gave me this unique mission. There must be something he wanted me to do in Loran. I guess I will have to pay a trip to that city and figure it out myself. Dimension Portal! Destination: Ceviro train station." - J cast a quick spell and quickly go in. The entire place that he stays suddenly corrupts and disappears. Leaving nothing behind.
