I Love You....

Finally, the day they waited for so long had arrived. This will mark the starting of their new journey that would be filled with many new happenings along with much more for which none of them had enlisted.

"Livia, get up. If not then we will be late on our first day." Serene howled from downstairs. She was busy packing her clothes and her usual day to day requirements.

Ines came out of the kitchen. Her hand held their breakfast. She put the plates on the dining table and went back to the kitchen.

Diana, in her room, hunted through her stuff. She was the one in their group, she preferred to do last-minute packing and it would always end up with her missing out on some stuff at home.

While in one of the rooms upstairs, a girl who parallelled with the sleeping beauty was soundly sleeping. She had her body tucked and covered by the blanket up to her chin. Her small sleeping face peeked out.

Her alarm rang, she groggily slid out one hand and attempted to turn off it.

"Ugh… whosoever had invented these alarm clocks had committed the most sinful crime. He should rot in Hell."

The girl groaned in her deep and sweet voice. The huskiness in it, due to her waking up, added another charm to it. Her hypnotic voice could make others fall for instantly. And they fell so deep into it, without having any idea of how to get up after tumbling.

She moved the blanket off her body and wore her sleepers. She padded over to her bathroom. She brushed up her teeth, then bathed. She strolled out in a white thick bathrobe. The water droplets sparkling on her pale skin. She was looking no less than a Goddess if not more.

She had a towel on her head wrapped securely to prevent the water from seeping. She marched to her wardrobe that was crowded with black and other neutral colours like grey and white. If one was given the task to find a different coloured cloth in her wardrobe it would be the same as finding a needle in a haystack. The haystack here was referred to as the bunch of clothes.

She took out a pair of black t-shirt and high waisted ripped black jeans. The t-shirt had words written with white on the centre of it, 'Not here to impress but to slay'.

She dried her hair and dressed up.

She put on her purple gemstone pendant on her neck.

She went out of her room. She arrived at the living hall only to be greeted by a frantic Diana. She saw her jumping here and there like a monkey. She could hear her cursing and swearing under her breath.

"Ines, did you see my brush? I can't find it", she sulked. Ines rolled her eyes at Diana.

"Why would I know?"

"Because you are the Mama of our group. You know where we keep our stuff better than us."

Diana held Ines's hand and dramatically clamoured.

"See!! This is why I always tell you to pack up your items before the time. But you!! You never listen to me." Serene rebuked Diana yet she didn't heed her friend's advice.

"Now, suffer. And I really can't get it. Why are you getting so worked up? It's not like we are shifting to another state forever or we can't come back here again to get things if we missed them this time."

Serene couldn't put her finger on Diana's hysterical behaviour.

"I know but you should discern that it is hard for me to digest the fact whether I have missed out my things, then I can't live in peace."

Diana understood, she was the one at fault. However, this is a part of her bad habits and it was difficult to get over your habits even though she tried.

Serene could infer how anxious Diana was feeling, she placed her coffee mug on the table and sat beside the sulking Diana and patted her head lovingly like a mother. Her pat reassurance and comforted Diana.

She smiled at Serene. Although Serene would be considered the strictest among them, nonetheless she always knew what to do when the other girls were feeling down.

"Did Livia wake up?" Ines asked as she passed Diana her favourite toothbrush.

It simply brought a massive grin to Diana's face. Her glooming aura changed to cheerful like her usual self.

"THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!" Diana shrieked as she tightly wrapped her arms around Ines like a snake clasping its prey.

The strength and force were not startling since Diana's hugs were dubbed as 'the death hug'.

They got used to them. Therefore, it didn't affect Ines much.

"I love you...I love you…" She kept repeating continuously.

"Yeah, I know you love but if you don't lose up a little then I might not be alive as I would faint from low blood circulation."

Ines spoke with slight discomfort. Serene was having her entertainment seeing them bicker.

Aza, who had just reached the living hall, couldn't help but shake her head, witnessing chaos at the break of dawn.

They had agreed the previous night to wake up earlier than usual since they had to complete some unfinished work before they began their mission. Certainly, the work ended up quicker than they expected so they went back to their sleep and woke up around 10.

Since the new semester was going to begin from tomorrow. They had the whole day left to go and get settled down for their mission.

As instructed by their master, they will be provided with their ID cards today along with their schedule. He had also told them that they would be part of the new freshers batch of the year and this would be their first semester.

They had been informed that they would be scholarship students, who belonged from the countryside. About their dorms, they would be located on the same floor as the others. Also, they will be getting a key to an apartment near their university which would only be used in the ominous dilemma.

"Hey, Aza. Wanna grab some coffee?"

Aza nodded at Serene. She got up and walked to the coffee maker and made an espresso for Aza. She gave Aza her coffee and relaxedly settled down on her seat.

Aza joined her and sipped her coffee with a delightful smile.

Diana had left Ines and ran over to her room. She made this sudden tour to her room to pack her remaining stuff and also to confirm if she had abandoned anything.

Ines slumped down opposite Aza and Serene. Ines opened her left eye and glanced at the two unbothered girls. She heaved out a heavy sigh.

Serene joked with Ines, "Did you enjoy the hug?"

Ines snorted at Serene.

"Hahaha… very funny," Ines responded sarcastically.

"Anyway, Aza did master give you another instruction?" Serene questioned Aza, she knew there was a limit to Ines's patience which she would never cross as it would be digging herself six feet down the grave.

"Rev, did you pack your things?"

Rev ignored Bryan as it was the thousandth time he had asked him the same question.

During any trip, Bryan would be the one panicking the most. He would triple check everything yet it won't extinguish his fear of leaving important stuff behind.

They had sought to assure him that he was just overthinking and nothing more. However, he didn't regard their opinions.

Caleb sat beside Rev, who was immersed in his world that only included work. Work was his oxygen, he can't survive a day without his work. Caleb clicked his tongue in annoyance. Sometimes, it troubled them a lot seeing their friend working like a robot and yet they can't do anything. They wanted Rev to enjoy his youth while he had the time because when this time will be passed on, it won't come back.

"WHY CAN'T I FIND MY BLACK HOODIE."

Zeki cried out inside his room. The door of his room was left ajar, hence the sound resonant outside too.

They could hear him as he had a sharp and high pitched voice. Caleb sighed. He wondered if there would be a day when they won't have to hear Zeki squeaking like a damn Brazilian hummingbird.

Xavier had his earphones plugin. He wasn't new to the fact that their morning was never calm and peaceful. They started their day with chaos and mess and ended with the same note.

"When are we leaving?" Xavier confided.

Rev implied, "We will leave from here at exactly 10 am. It would take around 2 hours to get to the university. Then we have to go and get our timetable also ID cards."

"Hmm.. I have no issues with that." Just like this Xavier got engrossed or at least pretended to be.

Zeki ran down the stairs and arrived at the hall. He saw his friends performing their typical day plan.

"What should I have expected…." He trailed off. He had a kinda feeling that maybe he will get a glimpse of something different yet his friends didn't disappoint his beliefs as he knew in his heart. His friends weren't normal.
