CHAPTER 4 - ARRIVAL AT A NEW LAND

Maybe it was only after 2 months when Joanne opened her eyes and quite startled to find herself in the middle of...…a beautiful forest….and also with a beautiful emerald stone beside her. Thoughts started to flood into Joanne's mind after some time as she started to remember how she tragically ended up there as she let out a wild horrifying scream, which when heard makes a chill run down one's spine. The wild birds sitting in the forest flew away in the sky as if they were petrified of Joanne's scream. Joanne was motionless for quite some time and then stood up as if she had finally gathered up her courage to move on. She was quite hurt and dIdn't know anythIng about she got in, so she decIded to find a person or any safe shelter nearby to heal herself and satisfy her curiosity. She was walkIng through the half-made pathway in the forest, not knowing where she was headed to. Once again, she was immersed in her thoughts while walking. She wondered how she would survive in this strange land on her own and also how – THUD!!
