1 The 17th floor

Chapter 1

"Ugh another day another problem" i got out of bed while my alarm was going off  "shut up!" I shouted as I turned it off i went to the bathroom to take a bath and getting ready to start the day I started stripping i went to fill my tub and have a moment of relaxation then back to the normal boring shitty life of mine.

After i took a bath i heard loud sounds from the room above me "arhhhhggg!!" Someone screamed "wtf was that?" It might've just been just my imagination or my upstairs neighbor invited her boyfriend or something.

I shook it off then i heard it again "AhhhHh"

Screamed I didn't know what was going on with them it was a sound of pain it sounded so painful but I didn't know what was going on and I didn't want to assume so i continued to prepare myself to go to school i heard a thud from upstairs concerned i went to grab my jacket along with an taser with me as i went to grab  my handle but just before i could the light went off and shortly after it went back "Im sorry for the inconvenience there was a small problem with the power but don't worry it was fixed" someone spoke in the speaker I didn't think much of it and went on my way to the 17th floor where i heard the scream i live in the 16th floor as i went to the elevator it didn't work so I thought there must've been a problem with it and they are currently fixing it so i went to the stairs and immediately i felt shivers run down my spine it was cold the atmosphere was so heavy i had second thoughts about going up i made up my mind to go up as i took my first step a neighbor from my floor an elder asked me if I could help him with his stuff to carry downstairs hesitant i said "okay" in a soft voice I didn't know what to do if I should still go up so I decided to go there tomorrow. As i was helping the old man he said to me "thank you young lad for helping me with these boxes my bones are becoming weaker with my age" "it's fine I wasn't really doing anything and i still have some time before going to school" i stated politely to the grandpa with a gentle smile "I wouldn't go there when its this time of the year" i was startled what did he mean by that what is going on at this time of the year "what do you mean sir why not?" I asked him "your new here i see every  year at this time something always happens so I wouldn't advise you to go there" he said i was skeptical what why what's happening? I asked myself "what's going on at this time of the year why can't i go there-....
