21 Chapter 17: Death and Mercy

Just so everyone knows, the Magic of the Mountain Men is unknown to the Grounders, since it is hard to tell what magic a person uses when it is unseen

Begin story
With Angus and the Grounder army day of attack
Having the Trikru Mages spaced Strategically among the Grounder Army, Angus and the hobbit Earth mages take the forefront Along with Octavia and Harper who are under the protection of 3 Jotun's.
The Army is Slow at advancing, towards the Vault Doors of the Bunker
Then A green Fog came tumbling down the sloaps of the mountain. At this time Octavia used her air magic to disperse the Fog into the Sky, as the army walked through.
As the army Approached the Bunker, Bullets came flying at them from Mountain men who had no Hazard suits on.
Some of the Trikru mages were having trouble Keeping their Magic Shields up. This allowed the death of a dozen grounder warriors.
100 meters from the Bunker, that was when Many noticed their magic cutting out.
Realising that the Mountain men could cancel magic Angus yelled at the Earthmen to pelt the enemy with stone and spikes and form walls to Hide Behind.
The Magic of all grounders was completely gone at 50 meters, while Angus's was as weak as when he was a level30 earth bender.
A voice rung out, this was Dante Jr

Dante jr: Heda of Trikru, can you hear me!
Lexa: Yes
Dante jr: If you take your army and leave, we will let your people go and we shall not harm you as you leave! Do you accept!
Angus: Lexa, you gave your word and said you would help in defeating the Mountain.
Lexa simply stared then spoke: I will look after my people first. Since you are not one of mine, I have no reason to stay.

Lexa then Commanded the Grounder army to leave
Garzol: Leave then you yella livered turn coat Bitch.
Garzol: We don't need them; we can take the mountain down.
Angus: How, our magic is failing?
Garzol: runes still Work, use your shield.
Bairn: Pray to the Gods, ask them for aid.
Angus threw some fire on the ground making a small campfire. Next, he threw in some of his blood.
Angus: Oh Odin, give me strength so that the mountain shall fall.

After the prayer was done, Angus quickly earth bended stones with Exploding runes on them.
He then gave them to the giants and told them to throw.

For the next 10 minutes, the giants rained Down hundreds of Exploding stones, killing many Mountain men and making the others run into the mountain for cover.

During this Time with the Arkers
Abbey feared for her daughter and did not trust the Grounders or Angus to save Clarke.
Deciding to take a troop of guards and Kane, she made her way up to what was the Dam that powered the Bunker.
Now the way they discovered this was through old Blueprints that were on the Ark database.
Once they got to the dam, they decided to blow up the sealed door.
But unknown to them, there were Mountain men standing guard in the shadows without suits on.

Immediately the 11 guards, Kane and Abbey were captured and brought to the lower labs for the Mountain Doctors to extract marrow from.

With the Mountain men during evacuation
Prez Dante Jr was in the control room with his captain and his father.
During this time, they got the notification form the Dam that they captured some Arkers.

Dante Jr over the communicators: Very good, take them to cure our people, I don't care if you kill them
Dante Jr to the room: Alright We will need to evacuate to the lower bunker to buy time to get more marrow for the rest of our people.
Dante Sr: Son I will stay here; my days are number the most I can do is to clear the computer of important information for these Arkers. I will also make sure the main gate to your floor stays sealed. Make an escape through the maintenance shafts.

Dante Jr had tears in his eyes: Father! Thank you for every thing you have done, I promise to make our enemies suffer.

Now the only one who remained was Dante Sr who worked to remove important information from the databanks.

Back with Angus as they enter the bunker.
As Angus and his army walked the hallways, they came across a map that indicated the location of everything in the bunker.
Angus: Bairn take the soldiers to those stair cases, do not enter them until I give you the go ahead. While Garzol and I will go to the Control room and see if we can find my people.

Angus, Garzol and 3 runners (messengers) made way for the control room.
When they entered, they saw an old man fervently typing at the computer.
Angus Strode over and pulled the old man from the key board.
Angus: Old Man who are, what have you done and where are my people!
Dante Sr: calm young man, I am Dante Sr former president of these people you came to kill.
Angus: Dante I never wanted to kill your people; it was yours who took mine!

Angus using his limited skill of computer was able to find the cameras.
Looking through them he found his friends boxed into a room.
Next, he saw a large hall filled with women children and elders.
Finally, he saw a group of Arkers chained up in a medical lab, some who were being drilled into
Angus—what the fuck are those idiots doing here? I left them for the simple fact they are too emotional!

Angus: Well Dante sr, why are they drilling into the Arkers?
Dante Sr: We need the marrow to live on the surface!
Angus: you probably know this computer so open those doors to that floor. I am here to take my people back.
Dante Sr: you came here with an army; I would be a fool to let you an easy way to kill them.
Angus: I do not wish to kill your innocent people; I will even give them my marrow. But if you make this harder than is I will kill everyone.

Angus then went to what looked to be an internal comms unit.
Angus: who is the new President
Dante Sr: that would be my son Dante Wallace jr.
Angus then spoke on the communications
Angus: Hello is there a Dante Jr available?
Dante Jr: this is him, who is this?
Angus: I am Angus, leader of the teenagers you took.
Angus: I have a deal to save your people, if not I will kill you all.
(AN: remember that angus has a healing factor that also adapts his body to handle stresses)
Angus: if you open the doors to your level, I will go down alone and let you take my marrow
Dante Jr: That is a very tempting offer, what is the catch?
Angus: let my people go and the one you have chained up right now. Do that and I will take my weapons off and walk down there with no one else.
Dante Jr: How will I know you won't kill us, also is my father dead?
Angus: you just have to take the chance, either way if you don't agree they will die by the hands of my army. Your Father is sitting right here, if you would like I can bring him with me.
Dante Jr: I agree to your terms, but your people are the level above us, go to room 3E they are there but locked in. I will unlock the ones we have down here but they will not be released until you get down here.
Angus: Alright I will be down there shortly

Angus sent a runner to get his people untrapped from their room, then he made his way down.

Down on floor 5
Dante Jr was at a door with soldiers that had their guns prepared, when his father came through it followed by a large red-haired man.
Dante Jr: so, you are Angus?
Angus: Yes, now take me to the labs and get your people ready.

Dante Jr, quickly ordered his people to hide Abbey and the others, so Angus would not see they were not released.

Angus then started the process of the bone marrow transplant
Angus: I want the first recipients to be the children, bring them here as you do it.
Dante jr Grinned: Very well. We have 72 children; I hope you are enough or we can capture more Arkers.

42 transplants.
That was how long it took before Angus had to call for a break and asked for food and water, which was gladly given.
Dante Jr was shocked and Frightened so he did as was asked not really sure how 1 man could give so much marrow.

500 transplants and 3 breaks later
The Mountain men were finally prepared to venture into the surface.
Dante Jr and Sr were Extremely please
Dante Sr: Son this man has singularly saved our people, lets release him in thanks.
Dante Jr then commanded the release of Angus and secretly the other Arkers.

Angus at that time to concentrate on the Soldiers and Dante Jr.
Over time in close proximity to the Mountain men, Angus gained an immunity to their Magic Cancelling ability.
When he was ready, he altered the Earth Elements in the bodies of the Soldiers and Dante Jr.
This way they had a quick and silent death. Killing 207 without a single blink of the eye.
This terrified everyone in the Bunker.
Angus: President Dante Sr, for your people's crimes I have claimed the price owed. You and your people are now ruled by the other Arkers.

At that moment the Doors were opened and his army came down, and began the transportation of the new members of the Ark to their new home
Many children and wives were crying at the loss of their Family.
But Angus did not care, this was the price they had to pay for freedom.
