4 A Legend
[POV Human Kingdoms]
A Few hours Earlier....
'A beast of legend stirs from their slumber'
The words of the world said that one sentence which caused all the citizens to fall into panic and worry all assuming the worst to come. Some of the more upstanding citizens began to plan their fall into crime in preparation to the possible disaster.
Some wondered if the beast of legend is a monster from the legends. Some wondered if they could truly keep their family safe. And others foolishly believed their given city and kingdom was safe from all threats.
Meanwhile the upper and ruling class began to have everyone search for any information on such beasts especially the mages after all they were the most knowledgable.
Some found text that could be possibly connected a hero from long ago slayed a beast called a Hydra, this one in particular was called the lernean Hydra. It was text from a kingdom that fell long ago but their knowledge was absorbed by some kingdoms.
In some of the human kingdoms the mages found a prophecy.
(The Kin of whom spilled the blood of the protector of the lake shall suffer a similar fate. As the blood of the mother stains your hands the kin of dragons will make you bleed in turn. As the many heads of fate tighten their hold on you know they you brought it upon yourself. As the beast poisons your food, burns your villages until it finally bares its eyes filled with venom and malice, know this there is no one to blame but yourself. Every attempt to not pay heed to the beast will result in more loss, when the dragon of storms falls be wary of opening the gate way to Pandora, all you will discover is the end.)

[POV Holy Empire Ruberios, The Pope Emperors meeting room]
"What has everyone found that could be pertaining to this Beast Of Legend?"
"Your Holiness I found out this foreboding prophecy, If you wish to read it I have it with me."
"This could prove invaluable to dealing with this monstrosity that god has warned us about."
Then the fat man in white robes handed over a scroll and as the Pope Emperor read through more of it his expression began to become more and more worry filled.
"It seems Veldora will die judging from this and this beast of legends may be the one to do it. It seems this beast is the spawn of something one of the heroes of old has slain, I believe once we know its exact location we should funnel all resources in the subjugation and execution of this unholy beast."
"But for now we need more information what else have you all gathered, know that any information will help us cleanse this world of this being of darkness and clear malice, not providing such information will only inhibit our ability to execute God's will."
"Well your grace I have found a legend within the library pertaining to a hero of old who slayed a beast known as a hydra they had a strange title attached to it, theh called it the Lernaean Hydra."
"Good work this may be what the prophecy means by the blood of the mother, give it here at once this may be exactly what we need to further prepare the fight off this beast."
A well built bald priest within robes stepped forward kneeling while within his outstretched hands was a small hard cover book. The cover read the Twelve Labours Of and the name was missing.
And so the Pope Emperor began to skim through some of the pages, the hero told in these pages slain lions, and a three headed dog called Cerberus that guarded the underworld even a lady with hair made of snakes and so many more beasts but then he landed upon one mentioning the hydra, it told of its fatal weakness to fire to cauterize the wounds to prevent the regeneration. And how the hero had help some mage of sorts used fire magic to heat up the torch further to cauterize the wounds. And eventually the beast was slain, the beast was known as the Lernaean hydra where it once lived was a lake surrounded by moors, but the further you went in there was dark murky swamps that they hydra would patrol before returning to the beautiful Lake Lerna.
The egg that was found was sealed within a nearby Cave that had magical doors that prevented monsters from escaping.
"It seems we know where this Hydra is provided nobody else has moved the beast until now, no one is to mess with the cave where Veldora is sealed within. The only known weakness is fire it seems, begin finding and hiring fire mages in preparation for the worse otherwise submit further information of the beast at a later date I need some time to arrange some things."
"Yes your holiness!" They all shouted at once as the Pope Emperor sighed.
And mumbled barely audibly.
"I should report this to Miss Valentine."
