...

It was pretty easy to gain Class S's trust, since Shinju taught them a lot of things along the ride. While the students thought that Shinju was thinking about how great they were, in reality, her mind was filled with different imagines with Luminous in her maid costume, somehow, she just couldn't get the image out of her head.

Suddenly, the carriage started to tremble a bit before it came to a full stop. Shinju looked up and also saw that the students were confused at what was happening.

"Let me take a look." said Shinju.

Taking a peek out of the window, there was a group of bandits in front of the horse.

"Come out! We don't want to harm any of ya!"

"If you give us what we want, we'll leave you alone!"

"Or else we'll have to do it the hard way!"

Shinju looked at her students and saw that they were in deep thought. She couldn't blame them, after all these were humans and not monsters. But if a human acts like a monster, it's no different than one.

"You can fight them, they're trying to attack us so we're only going to be defending ourselves." said Shinju.

Although this is just an outdoor training, students needed to learn what the real world was like. Not everyone was a good person, even humans could be called monsters.

"Also, there's 5 of them, you each take one of them. Since they're regular bandits, they can't use magic so we have the advantage. Now go." said Shinju.

All 5 students nodded and left the carriage. After a minute, the students came back and the 5 bandits were now knocked out on the hard ground.

"Did you get them all?" asked Shinju.

They all nodded as the carriage started going again.

"Good job, now tell me what did you learn from it?" asked Shinju.

"What do you mean?" asked Anne.

"I guess that was a bit vague so I'll ask this question first, how did it feel to attack another human?" asked Shinju.

Anne thought about it for a moment, before replying, "It felt weird? It felt off that I had to attack another human being."

"Do the rest of you agree with her?" asked Shinju.

The four others nodded in reply meaning they agree.

"I guess that's a natural reaction, however, there will be multiple times like this. Monsters are not the only monsters, they can also be humans. Those people are labeled evil, they can be nice to you and stab you behind your back. That's why you should always be careful when trusting people, get to know them and don't leak much information about you. Always have them take the initiative, I'll let you guys think about it while I get some rest." said Shinju.

While the students were in deep thought, Shinju rested her head against the back of the carriage and closed her eyes.

Our trip went smoothly as we made it into Gurantol in 5 days.

Though, she wondered how her students are doing...but let's leave that to Tiss-sensei.

After talking to Count Gurantol, we started making our way towards the cave. They said they needed more time to prepare the rooms so we agreed, we wanted to check out the man made cave as soon as possible too.

"Will there be monsters inside?" asked Anne.

"Nope, it's said it's a man made cave so most likely there won't be any monsters. Even if there was, they're probably going to be weak ones there. It should be good for you guys since I'll be evaluating everything." said Shinju.

All of them fixed their posture and started walking with their chest up. Shinju silently chuckled at the sight and started heading inside the cave.

"Gesdar-san!" called Anne, but there was no reply.

The cave was big and had bright yellow cores stuck to the ground, it lighted up the surroundings making it easier to see.

"Gesdar-san!"

"Gesdar-san, where are you?!"

"He might be further in." said Shinju.

When we made our way through one of the entrances, there were beers knocked over as well as tables. Next to all of the broken tables, there was a desk with a note on it.

「 To the rest of the class that's going to enter here. Gesdard-san has already been taken care of by Class S, see you guys at the finish line! Teehee~ 」

"Well, it seems like my students were already here. It's not surprising since they did take the shortest route." said Shinju.

Right when the students slumped in defeat, loud rumbling came from beside them. The wall burst open revealing 2 knight spiders were staring at them with their 8 eyes..

"Now's your chance to show me what you've got after what I taught you, redeem yourselves." said Shinju.

Immediately, the 5 students burst with determination on got into formation. Unlike last time, they all attacked in different patterns while paying around to their surroundings. Shinju nodded in satisfaction and started evaluating the students.

Soon enough, the 2 knight spiders were easily deflected by the precise teamwork of the 5 students.

....

It was already the next day and we were currently discussing what currently happened during the expedition into the man made cave.

"Hmm, a kind of monster called phantom and was part of the thieves?" asked Shinju.

"I've never heard of this. Of course, the Western Holy Church might know something about this, but you kids defeated the monster?" asked Jeff.

"Well, I actually thought we were done for but when I woke up, it was all over." said Kenya.

"Apparently Ken-chan beat him in his sleep, isn't that right sensei?" asked Ryota.

"Well...yes something like...that." said Tiss looking away.

Shinju could already tell what happened, it was probably Tiss who beat up the person but the real question was how did they defeat him. According to Shinju's knowledge, she's never seen Tiss's abilities, she doesn't know if she has any abilities at all.

"But Tiss-sensei, the thieves stole the secret remedy that the count has finally gotten hold of. Now he can't cure his wife's illness." said Chloe.

"HA? How is my sister?" asked Court Gurantol.

Shinju nearly spit out her tea, first there was something about a secret remedy and now there's the Court's ill sister. Just how many surprises would she get?

"The doctors are trying their best to help her condition, but without the secret remedy..I'm not sure..."

Secret remedy...Shinju did find something similar to it, then a light bulb appeared on top of her head. Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out a small bottle filled with liquid.

"Is this the secret remedy you guys are talking about?" asked Shinju holding up the bottle.

Everyone stared at the bottle Shinju was holding up and became shocked.

"Where did you find that?" asked Court Gurantol.

"It was underneath one of the broken tables at the cave, I thought it was of some use so I picked it up, but never mentioned anything about it." said Shinju.

"....Whatever, I'm just grateful you were able to obtain this. Now I can heal my wife." said Court Gurantol.

"Hold on now, I didn't say I would give it to you." said Shinju.

""EH?"" Everyone asked.

"I can give you this on one condition." said Shinju.

"What is the condition?"

"If I ever need help from you, you will come help. No matter how important what you were currently doing, you will come help me no questions asked." said Shinju.

"If that's the condition...then I'll accept."

"Great, now everything's settled then." said Shinju handing the bottle over.

With this, the outdoor training ended in Class S's favor.

Shinju was tired and wanted to rest, but what awaited her would be exhaust her.
