73 Ch 70: A rock and a hard place....

The group emerges in the middle of a street which is covered in greenery as overgrown trees and mold cut through large cement buildings and skyscrapers.

"Wow, this place... I have no clue where it is." Rimuru says to herself before she hears foot steps.

Signaling everyone to hide as a squad of golem legionaries pass by in formation.

After a bit of time they come out of hiding.

"You saw that too?" Benimaru asks

'Saw what?' Rimuru thinks to herself.

"Right Rimuru-sama is a genius, those golems we're definitely a scout party doing a patrol." Hakurou

'... I just felt their presence.' Rimuru thinks to herself.

"Right now we can follow them back to their base." Benimaru says

The group nods as they begin to follow the golems through the ruined city scape.

There is a cry from a bird like monster as a kulu ya ku jumps into the patrolling formation forcing the golems to fight back and repel the monster using very advanced battle tactics.

Benimaru seeing this sweats a little and takes some notes.

"Nekra's army is as strong as ever." Rimuru mutters seeing the Kulu ya ku limping away.

"Nya that was cool, I love having random events like that." Nekra says having watched the battle.

Yuki nods as she sets down food for the cat girl.

"So, you're fine with them following?" Yuki asks

"Partially I mean I want them to get through the dungeon and I don't think I will make them fight the wave nya. I just want to show off nya." Nekra says

Yuki nods.

"Right you just wanna show off to Rimuru and Ramaris whenever she gets here." Yuki says

Eventually the group arrives at what appears to be some sort of military campsite.

"Is that Spartacus?" Rimuru mutters seeing the man cheering on the soldiers in camp.

"Who is there!" Spartacus shouts

"Boss fight?" Rimuru asks herself.

Boss music starts to play as the man surveys the room.

"Found you, you cowards!" He shouts looking in the wrong direction from the group.

Several months later.

"Have they beaten Spartacus yet nya?" Nekra asks Yuki.

"No, I mean. I don't think they will... how did you make Spartacus?" Yuki asks

"A golem cyborg mixture... like a slightly less power full Safi in human form nya." Nekra says

"How about Kyra's offer?" Yuki asks

"I will probably take it Nya. Let's just let this thing run it's course I'm thinking after the next war we make our move nya." Nekra says holding a book.
