"He has fallen into a deep sleep... Rather than a coma I would say that because of depleting his mana completely he has developed mana deficiency illness. He's fallen in a state of oblivion... The next time he wakes up he'll probably lose most of his memories... I'm really sorry." Says the doctor and after he finishes talking he leaves the room.

"That monster is gonna lose all his memories...."

"Sieg... This is not your fault."

"Yeah... Celestine's right! You both defeated two of the upperclassmen!"

"Don't sulk now! He might regain his memories when he wakes up."

Sieg doesn't speak a single word and only looked frustrated... more frustrated than anyone else in that room. He looked at Kei weeping and weeping non-stop and thought to himself-

"Why...! There's no meaning in winning if you aren't awake!"

Then he goes outside the room with his bandaged arms and slams the door shut. They all look at Tatsuya sleeping peacefully. All they could do was wish for his complete recovery while having a sad smile on their faces.

That day Celestine stayed with Kei the whole time. By the time night fell, Kei slept off after crying her heart out.

"If only there was some way to make him not lose his memories..."

"This kid..." says Veilios after coming out from the grimoire.

"This child is gonna grow..."

"But what's the use of growing if you don't have all your memories... His growth would be incomplete!"

"What I meant was that... as he grows the thought will definitely hit him. 'My memories, Are these really mine' is what he's gonna think..."

"How do you know that?!"

"I'm a great spirit... I've had my own share of experiences in the past.... Wait a second!"

"What? Don't tell me that there is some way to retain his memories?"

"There is... But he is the only one who can do it."

"Only he can?"

"I can't tell you how and why... I'm just gonna sleep." Says Veilios and goes back into the grimoire.

Celestine carries Kei back to her room and the school staff brings Tatsuya to his room as well after some time. They close the door and Kei opens her eyes a bit to see Tatsuya next to her sleeping peacefully. She cuddles with him and falls asleep.

In the morning, Kei gets up early to find Tatsuya still sleeping.

"Ryo-nii... I'll become strong... I'll become so strong that when you wake up you'll be surprised to see me! Kiro guard Ryo-nii...!"

Kiro sits next to him and after changing Kei goes to the cafeteria. She meets Celestine there and asks her to buy food for two people.

Celestine buys the food for her and she takes the bags and heads to the dorms. She opens the door and after closing it she sits next to Tatsuya. She feeds him and he swallows his food.

"Ryo-nii is strong... I know that you'll be alright when you wake up!"

After feeding him she starts to eat her food and then someone knocks on her door. She opens the door to see Sieg with a bag of food. Kei takes the bag and keeps it inside. Sieg closes the door and sees Tatsuya sleeping.

"I'm sorry Kei... It's my fault that he's like that..."

"Sieg-nii... It's not your fault! Now, eat!"

"O-ok!" says Sieg and starts to eat while looking depressed. Then he notices a note on the table.

Apparently Tatsuya had written it someday. 'Have to pay the money to Yavia.'

"Yavia?"

"Hm? What's written on that Sieg-nii?"

"He had to pay money to someone called Yavia?"

"Yavia-san...? I'll do it." Says Kei and takes out the key to her shop from Tatsuya's pocket.

Then she opens the wardrobe and finds a lot of money in there.

"Oh... So even he got it... But what's the use." Says Sieg and then looks frustrated.

"Sieg-nii... can you take few pouches of this?"

"But why?"

"Please~"

"Okay." Says Sieg and does so. Then Kei opens the door with the key inserted in. She drags the money in there and closes the door. Sieg hadn't noticed Yavia's shop and just sat there eating.

"Oh! Keiki... What brings you here?"

"The money that Ryo-nii had to give."

"You brought it! You've become so big! Where is Ryokai?"

"Ryo-nii isn't gonna wake up... so I brought it here for him!"

"Isn't gonna wake up...? Did something happen? Feel free to tell me anything Keiki..."

"Yavia-san... Can you take the money first?!"

"Okay..." says Yavia and takes the money that she was supposed to get.

"I'll get going then!" says Kei with teary-eyes.

"Something happened. Am I wrong?"

Kei then cries and Yavia changes to a human form and hugs her.

"Ryo-nii.... He had a test... and after he won... He fell down and wouldn't wake up!" and she sobs continuously.

"It's okay Keiki. It's Ryokai we're talking about! He'll definitely be alright!���

Few months have passed; Kei still takes care of Tatsuya while his classmates drop by for a visit once in a while. Sieg visited him almost every day and he also took care of Kei most of the time.

One fine day, when Celestine, Sieg, and Luna had come to visit him he spoke his first few words in those 4 months.

"Almost winter..." and then he didn't speak anything.

Everyone in that room were really surprised and thought that he would wake up soon... But their expectations had been betrayed. He continued to sleep peacefully showing no more signs of waking up.

"Why won't Ryo-nii wake up...? I'm doing so much..." says Kei while looking down.

"It's not that Kei-chan... Let him sleep for some more time. He'll definitely get up." Says Celestine while trying to comfort Kei.

"That's right Kei! You can stay with me till he wakes up!" says Luna with her usual perverted face.

"It's okay Luna-nee! I can manage by myself and Kiro."

"Kiro?"

"Oh you both don't know about him. It's better if you don't." Says Sieg and sends them out of the room.

Kiro had been hiding in the balcony since there was space there and also if people came to know that a monster was living in the dorms then people would definitely come to subdue it.

Sieg hugs Kei tightly and she hugs him as well.

"Don't worry! I'll definitely find some way to bring him and his memories back. Leave it to me!" says Sieg and looks enraged.

More than half a year had passed; Tatsuya didn't show any signs of waking up. Most of the people from the other classes started to think that Tatsuya had already died and they were only hiding it. Sieg would go and beat up every single person who blurted out such things. He even slapped few girls who said stuff like-

"Where's that transfer student? Maybe he's dead..."

"Stop saying it out aloud. What if he really is dead? That guy will come and beat you up as well.��

Tatsuya opens his eyes to find himself in a dark and empty place where he felt very cold.

"What kinda joke is this...? Hey Veilios! You there?!" says Tatsuya but all he could hear was an echo of his own voice.

"Seems like he's not responding... An echo? I'll try going that way then..." says Tatsuya and walks in the darkness towards the direction from where the echo came from.

As he walks in the darkness on both of his sides he sees scenes from his past and his present. He continues to walk while looking at the images of his past and present.

"Just where the hell am I?"

"Wanna know?" he hears a voice from a distance.

Tatsuya stands on his guard and then a person comes walking from the opposite direction while laughing.

"Who are you? Are you the one who brought me here?!"

"Me... I am you and you are me..."

"I'm not in the mood for riddles. Spit it out! Who are you?"

The person confronts Tatsuya and then he realizes that the person looked just like him.

"Why do you look like me?!"

"Like I said, we are the same being... At least right now."

"Right now?"

"That's right. This place where you are standing right now... It's our mind."

"What is your name?"

"I'm Perseus Harbard!"

"Perseus. So tell me why are we the same person."

"It's because..."

"Wait! I hope it's not something like a dissociative identity disorder!"

Perseus then looked like he was not interested and continues-

"That's because..."

"Don't ignore me, you ba*tard!"

"Let me complete my sentence, dammit!"

"Oh, go on. I won't interrupt you anymore."

"Goddammit! Ok so the reason is that I was on the verge of dying when your soul just appeared and took over my body."

"My soul?"

"You should've met that fake God right?"

"Oh, that old man! He's the one who sent me to this world..."

"I just met him the other day and he was like 'Oh child haveth you lost thy path?' and all I thought was that it was lame."

"Yep! He did the same thing when I died."

"Will you tell me how you died?"

"Yeah! I was shot dead by some assassin!"

"You might have been a really bad guy if you had to be killed by an assassin..."

"I wasn't a bad guy. I just had to..." and Tatsuya and Perseus continue talking about their lives and their past.

After a while of talking Tatsuya and Perseus get to know each other and Tatsuya says-

"You had an unknown disease and nobody could find a cure to it so they left you? Now, that's hilarious."

"At least I didn't steal for revenge because some chick rejected me."

"You say something?" says Tatsuya while making a fist.

"I was just joking! Calm down!"

Then suddenly the air around them changes and Perseus tells him-

"Let me give it straight to you... You're on the verge of death. You'll either lose all your memories or die."

"You just said it so bluntly..."

"You're the very first friend I've ever had! And since you've kept this body alive I'm really grateful to you."

"Don't mind all that. Anyways, that God put me in this body so it's just luck that I landed in your body."

"I have a proposal... Would you mind hearing me out, Tatsuya Ryo the Genius?"

"Go on, I'm all ears... Harbard Perseus the traveller!"
