"Ahhh....that song never gets old." Said the soul as it kept wondering in the void. "It's been years since I woke up in this place, has God or R.O.B forgotten me after bringing me here or did my soul stray away from the cycle of reincarnation..... nah can't be since there's no fucking way that could happen" said the the soul after a lot of contemplation on its part and like that it continued drifting in the endless void with its lonesome self.

"Seriously where the fuck is R.O.B or God and why the fuck am I so calm in this situation like what the fuck?!!" The I shout out in frustration as I've gotten tired of looking and watching my memories from the time of my birth to my death. It was interesting the first few times but after that it started to get boring watching my memories over and over and over again.
*Sigh*
"Maybe I should sleep until something or someone comes cause at this point I wouldn't mind disapp-" I said until I was interrupted by a loud voice.
"IT IS I, BROB!!!!" A loud voice echoed throughout the silent void and I shouted back by instinct, startled by the voice" Fuck you!!!"
"Hahahahhahha.... that never gets old!" The voice laughs out loud as if my reaction was amusing it and then a brightlight shone throughout the void. Suddenly the void around us transformed into an all encompassing white and a being of pure white with black outlining its shape as if to distinguish it from the white environment.
The being had no facial fitures except it pure golden eyes that shine bright in this encompassing white. "Is that you TRUTH?" I asked the being who looked like truth from full metal alchemist in bewilderment.
"BRUH I JUST SAID MY NAME SECONDS AGO" The being or BROB said deadpanning, " Hey its not my fault you fucking look like TRUTH ok?!" I retorted back at the being. "Anyway what going to happen to me now" I asked BROB ignoring the deadpanned look on his face also don't ask me how I know what expression he has on his face, I just know ok.
"REALLY NOT GONNA ASK WHY I NAMED MYSELF BROB OR WHAT IT STANDS FOR ?" BROB asked me with an incrudious expression. "Nope not interested " I replied without a second thought. "FINE, FINE, SINCE YOUR SO EAGER TO KNOW I WILL TELL YOU BROB STANDS FOR: BORED RANDOM OMNIPOTENT BEING" explained BROB, leaving me wondering if he's retarded or not. 'Yeah he's definitely retarded' I thought while deadpanning him.
"ANYHOW LETS GET TO THE MAIN REASON WHY I BROUGHT YOU HERE, IM WAS BORED SO I THOUGHT, WHY NOT REINCARNATE A RANDOM SOUL AND WATCH ITS LIFE AS ENTERTAINMENT. SO HERE YOU ARE THE LUCKY SOUL WHO GOT CHOSEN" BROB said in an exaggerated tone and I just rolled my eyes? And said in a dry tone filled with sarcasm "Yay... lucky me","YES YOU ARE VERY LUCKY, NOW LETS GET THE SHOW started" he or it said in an excited tone as he snapped his fingers and a giant roulette appeared before me.
"Don't tell me this is-" I said only to be interrupted again "YEP ITS A ROULETTE, I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GREAT IDEA TO CHOOSE EVERYTHING BASED ON LUCK YOU MORTALS CALLED IT" ""GACHA"". Pure dread filled my whole being as I looked at the roulette and one thought came to mind 'fuck'
"THIS IS HOW THINGS ARE GOING TO WORK, YOU WILL GET 3 SPINS FOR YOU ABILITIES, A SPIN FOR YOUR APPEARANCE AND A SPIN FOR THE WORLD YOUR BEING SENT TO" BROB explained and looked at me with a expression of someone who found amusement in others suffering and in this case he did find that amusement in me. Resigning myself to my fate I walked towards the roulette and pressed the big red botten while praying to lady luck to guide me.
On the roulette there were different powers like the sharingan, rinnegan, imagine breaker, kryptonian physiology etc and I pray I don't get bad powers like the notice me not ability, gardening, quirk:dog transformation or worse genderbending. The roulette started spinning and it spun so fast that I couldn't even follow anymore.

After what seams to be hours the roulette started to low down and the slower it became the more nervous I got as both BROB and I watch as the arrow land on different powers. We trailed it with our eyes as if our lives are dependent on it, well my life is and after what seems to be forever it stopped.

"TCH BEGINNERS LUCK, NOW ONTO THE NEXT ONE" BROB said annoyed at the fact that I got a good ability as my first one and the fact I was happy with it. So following his instructions I pressed the red button again and watch as the roulette spun again

"HAHAHAHA fuck yeah" I shouted jumping around in joy, "Thank you lady luck for giving me your blessing" I said crying tears of joy at this God sent luck as God knows how unlucky I was before I died.
"TCH AGAIN! I WOULDN'T BE SO HAPPY IF I WERE YOU AS IM SURE YOU USED UP YOUR LUCK WITH THE FIRST TWO ABILITIES" BROB said sourly dampening my mood, making me get nervous and so I did what any desperate person would do in this situation..... I prayed " God, Jesus, Odin, Buddha, Shiva, Zeus, Loki, Tyche and every other god out there please give me your blessings so that I continue through these desperate time, please bless me with luck, Amen." BROB was left speechless after hearing my prayers and shook his head and watched me press the button again.
The roulette spun faster then the other two times and it didn't seam like its gonna stop anytime soon. So it kept spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning

The roulette started to slow down as we both watched in anticipation as the arrow passed various abilities as it slowed down and it seamed to stop at the ability called SpongeBob physiology and I kneeled down in despair while BROB jumped in joy and then in passed it and landed on ....

After a few minutes of celebrating and gloating, I calmed down and looked at BROB who was sulking, "Hey man don't sulk about this, you know it's a luck based game and I was just a bit more lucky" I said trying to cheer up the sulking BROB and i sucked at it. "How about we make a deal in exchange getting another spin I will give you my memories of the plot of the world I'm going to, about it?" I said to him and his attitude turned 180 real quick " REALLY?!" He asked me excited at the prospect of the deal.
"Yeah" I replied and then I went to the second roulette that appeared and pressed the now blue button and the roulette spun. There were different types of world that I saw there was xianxia type of worlds, urban cultivation, anime worlds like one punch man, my hero academia, Death Note, jjk etc and even the dreaded world of boku no Pico. I thank God I didn't watch it in my previous life and now I watch in anticipation of what world I will be reincarnated in.

I went up to the third roulette and looked at my options, it had sasuke,Adrain , itachi, minato, diluc, kaeya, venti, SpongeBob, Patrick,Satoru, Veldora, Guy etc. "Hold the fuck on WHY the fuck do you have Patrick and SpongeBob there the fuck you even have catdog on here too?!!" I shouted hysterically when I saw some of these options
"ITS FOR VARIETY" BROB said with a shrug. I sighed and said" let's get this over with and be done" and I walk to the third roulette and pressed the green button and I watched it spin.

Those were the last words I heard before I lost consciousness. And thus my journey to another world begun.

Yo what's up people Omniscient_reader2 here, hope you like the first chapter of my fanfic and just so you know I'm a novice writer and I just thought of this idea of writing a fanfic about someone with a few powers in the world of dxd and unlike other protagonists of other fics our MC neither liked or disliked dxd and thanks to the deal he made he won't even remember the plot.
Anyway if there are any spelling errors plz notify me through the comments and I accept any helpful criticism since I'm trying to improve my writing.
