32 Chapter 32 – A New Idol Unit Second

"I wonder what kind of people who audition with our company…?" Me, who had been silent and listening to their conversation, asked the question toward Ichigo, who looked at me with a smile on his face.

"Oh, are you interested in this? You rarely comment about my work after all."

"Well, I'm not really interested in any other idol except my mom, after all…" I responded with a couple of nods.

"Yeah, of course… you don't need any idols when you have someone like me…" Ai said it while hugging me and even put her cheek on my cheek, acting like those spoiling mothers in anime or manga.

"Well, I don't bring much… But these are the girls I find really good." Ichigo said as he gave him many papers that contained the audition form. Like face, name, and other stuff. I looked at those papers pretty seriously until I saw a familiar face on those audition forms.

Well, she looked much younger and also had a difference in appearance from her blonde hair, as I know from the manga. Her hair was still short, like in the manga, but at this point she still had those black hair. If I wasn't wrong, she wanted to become an idol, and at this point, her mother was still healthy, so she didn't have to worry about her siblings.

She was none other than Mem-cho.

It was interesting to see her, but as I continued, there was another person I knew quite well, but never expected her to exist. She was a young girl with long brown hair and a sweet face. Her blue eyes seemed to sparkle a little differently than I knew, because it was like staring at a bluish starry sky that made her eyes become charming, which was probably like Ai herself.

Yeah, the girl had the same name and familiar face as someone I saw in my previous world, but she wasn't an anime character or either a manga character. She was actually Tokino Sora, a V-tuber from a big company called Hololive. That is, I saw someone who was a blend of the avatar and the talent behind it.

Of course, I don't know what her real-face was, even though I knew very well that there were some websites and videos about the real faces of many V-tuber, but I never had any intention to know that stuff.

For me, in the end, the V-tuber was just a person with an avatar showing a glimpse of their personality on it. I don't think that people like streamers, youtubers or V-tubers who show all of their personalities. They may be more evil or good people in real life.

Which means that I don't know how Tokino Sora looked or how her personality actually was. What I knew about her only from the clip I saw on YouTube, and I don't know anything else about her except some info from wiki and stuff like that.

"Hm… What happened? You watched one of the auditionees for a long time." Ai asked, her face adopting a cute face, but her eyes were kind of overwhelming, But I don't know if that was just me feeling or just the simple truth.

"Well, her eyes resemble your mother… I like her." I replied instantly.

"Is that so… Hm… Well, if you like her. Saitou… we recruited her!" Ai clapped her hand when she heard my answer, before pointing her finger at Ichigo.

"Wait! Really, I find her quite good too. But… I think there are more people like…"

"No… This is a girl my son likes, and he said she resembles me for a little bit… a little bit…"

Ai replied without even trying to hear what Ichigo said, and I wonder why she emphasized her last word like that.

"Also until this point, what Aqua said has always been good, so why not trust him…"

"That's true… but…"

"Well, in the end, she had a sweet face and a cute smile, which meant she had a good foundation already. As for her dance and singing skills, we can handle it in the future." Ai said that it is actually a sad reality of the idol industry that, in the end, appearance is one of the criteria to become an idol.

"Yeah, even so…" Ichigo still wanted to say something, but Ai finally stopped him.

To be honest, I've never worked in the idol world, and working with you would be the safest bet… Since I may learn something from you too…" I explained my reasoning to Ichigo while at the same time praising him a bit to make him like my reasoning.

"Good. If you two agree with each other, is there any girl you like?" Ai asked me. I didn't know why, but it feels a bit wrong to say that, Ai. I meant we were talking about picking a girl for an idol group, right? Why did she say it like searching for a girlfriend for me…

""Mem-cho?"" Ai and Ichigo had a questioning look on their faces while looking at the profile I pointed at.

"Wait, that isn't her name…" Ai said…

"Mem-cho…"

"No, Just like your mother, that's not her name…"

"It's her stage name… Mem-cho…"

"Wait, You can't make that kind of decision... You should talk to her first…"

"Mem-cho… Huh… That's a good stage name." Ai clapped her hand and praised my naming sense, while on the other hand, Ichigo put a hand to his forehead and sighed deeply.

"Ai, you can't let him do whatever he wants like this. See this! This is what happens when you spoil him all the time!" Ichigo said this while scolding her for what she did.

"Spoil!? No, I'm not spoiling him. I just show my love to him and let him do what he likes…"

"That;s why people say spoiling…"

"It's fine. My Aqua is a smart and kind child. He never does anything bad or weird…"

"He just did a weird thing."

Well, what Ichigo said was true. It was not good to spoil your kid, but well… I wasn't a normal kid, so it's fine. To be honest, having a mother that really spoils you, like in the anime and manga, was quite interesting in itself.

Well, this happened after Ai nearly lost her child. Of course, she had some trauma, and after that, she changed a lot, especially in how she expressed herself in front of me and Ruby. It felt like she became more expressive with how she showed her feelings and never held back to spoil the two of us. At the same time, she may show some favoritism toward me from time to time, but to my surprise. Ruby never shows any displeasure.

What do I say about her… Well… Ruby became like her mother, I guess… She became really nice to me and became proactive in searching for my attention. And it felt like she was quite blatantly looking for an opening to do a skinship with me.

To be honest… I wonder if the three of us will be fine. It looks like the accident three years ago changed our relationship.
