Ch 6 : The times of happiness

The north block sun set hill, Lisa and Rose both were hanging upside down on a tree's branch and Karthik was sharping his dagger on a rock.

"Who are you, and why captured both of us." Rose arrogantly questioned Karthik and the. Lisa slowly hit her with elbow and whispered "Rose, he is the guy we were looking for."

Rose then replied slowly "How can you be so sure?"

Lisa then whispered and said "I don't know but my sixth sense is telling me"

Karthik stood up and walked towards them while spinning the dagger in finger and sat near both of them and asked in his serious voice "Its been a long time since someone tried to follow me. Who are you both?"

Lisa then asked and also replied "You have to give your own intro before asking our names."

Karthik then slides off hoodie from head and said "My name is Karthik, And now tell me your name"

Lisa and Rose were both looking at him without even blinking for a second, both are surprised like they have seen a god and their cheeks were like apples because of shyness.

"Wow, he is so handsome even more handsome then they mentioned about him. Mumma I am falling in love" Rose whispered and then Karthik smirked and took of their both's masks.

He asked "As expected, girls can't resist if I got serious. Come on both of you, give me your introduction because I don't like to repeat one question again and again."

Lisa then somehow managed to free her hand and then she swings herself and cut off the rope and freed up herself from ropes, then she caught Karthik's arm and hit his elbow with another arm and take down Karthik over ground and said in her while blowing her hairs "You underestimated me, I have seen many handsome man but they are all nothing compare to you but it's your bad luck that I am not like other girls. Rose put the magic handcuffs in his hands"

She was still lost in her thoughts with Karthik and blushing while hanging upside down and Lisa gasped in depression and said "this girl is really like a headache. I have to handle it by my own"

Karthik then snapped his finger pain started in Lisa's heart and she caught her chest and steps back and knelt over ground. She was is pain like her heart is going to burst into flames and the tear were coming out from eyes and her eyes was red in pain.

Karthik got up and swipes off dust from clothes and came near Lisa. "Dear, How can even think that you can capture me like this. You know I gave you a chance to survive but you broke my heart. You know it feels quite bad."

He is smiling when Lisa was even unable to scream in pain, Her face was red in heat of pain and her facial muscles were streched a lot and it is getting more and more and more hard for her to handle that pain.

When Karthik walking around Lisa and after seeing Lisa in such condition Rose also freed up herself and attack over Karthik and help Lisa. "Sister, are you alright, try to talk to me"

Karthik was really frustrated now, he wipe off the blood coming from the corner of mouth and came forward saying "Enough of your both's rudeness. Get ready to die"

Karthik summoned his sword 'The devourer' and going to slash both girls' throats but before that Rose threw a magic ball and a holographic image appeared of Isabella and after seeing it Karthik stopped.

"Isabella, it's you, it's really you..." He was just looking at Isabella and got distracted from Lisa and Rose and Lisa started feeling relief from pain. She was feel weak and still in pain but not that intense, she took support of Rose's shoulder and got up hardly on legs.

"Sister, sorry for getting distracted. Are you feeling well?" Rose asked and Lisa took some deep breaths and whispered "I felt like someone is crushing and setting my heart on fire, It was hurting a lot and I can't even shout and ask for help... You helped me on time"

They both shifts their sight in Karthik and he was feeling sad after looking the projection of Isabella saying "Honey, please come back. We are searching for you. If you hearing this message then please come back to the place where we meet last time. We are missing you. Please come back." After giving message the projection disappeared and that magic ball became dust.

Karthik fell on knees and The devourer disappeared from his hands and then Lisa is going to hit him but again she got scared after seeing the sight of Karthik.

"Who are you both, and why are you behind me. Did someone told you to find me?" This time his tone of speaking was changed a lot. Rose then said "Isabella, she meet us eight years ago with a divine serpent who's name is Melissa. They both wiped out the whole royal cavalry and rescued our people and in exchange of their that help they asked us to find you and deliver this message to you."

After hearing the name of Melissa Karthik was shocked twice then before. He started remembering the scenes when Melissa died in his hands and he also failed to revive her even after sacrificing his soul energy. After remembering the memories with Melissa and Isabella Karthik's eyes came full of tears and those tears started falling over ground one after another.

Rose and Lisa both felt slightly bad so Lisa forget what he did sometime ago and both went near him.

"Hey are you fine?" Lisa asked and then Karthik caught her hand and said "Is this truth, was that another girl with Isabella was really my Melissa? Are they both fine. And how are they?"

His questions were endless but Lisa calm him and said "Yes, her name was Melissa and both were too much powerful. And one more thing, the demons were also hunting them but in the end they all died by their hands. Now they are both at a hidden secret place."

Karthik then wipe his tear and Kissed Lisa harder that threw Rose and Lisa both in shock. Lisa's injuries was getting healed with the kiss but it is not less than heartattack to Lisa and Rose.
