Ch 27 : A last chance

I then started following the steps of Isabella while carrying my dear Melissa's soul less body in my arms.

It is the first time when I am seeing a dead body of someone so close to me. I want cry but I can't give up like a weak person. She will not like that at all. I'll never forget her.

"Karthik, here, stand near me. We will use a teleport array" Isabella made an teleport array and then I stood with her in that array and soon we got teleported to the Land of souls.

This place is quite beautiful and quiet. Not any type of sound except bird's cheering and fragrance of flowers and it is a completely peaceful environment.

Isabella then hold my hand and take me to a place which was full of flowers of different colours. She then goes and sat on her knees while bowing her head and tears were falling over ground and she was sobbing in less voice.

I then sat beside her on my knees and after putting Melissa's body over ground comfortably. We both bowed our head and then We joined our hands and started praying for her soul to get peace in heaven.

Isabella was praying nonstop but I was unable to do that. Whenever I start to pray Melissa's smiling face appear in front of my eyes. I started remembering my moments with her. Even after a lot of try I am still unable to accept that she is no more.

I am calming down my heart by saying that she will wake up and she is just unconscious. At that time Isabella holds my hand and told me to not stop. "Karthik, It's hard but for the peace of her soul we have to pray. So the goddess of reincarnation give her a new life full of happiness."

After it I nodded and then started praying, after five minutes of pray A golden light particles started revolving around Melissa's body like a divine power is holding flowing around her.

When we open our eyes after pray we saw that Melissa's body was floating in air, soon her clothes started disappearing.

"What is this happening to her. Is it the attack of some kind evil spirit who wants to take over her body" Isabella came in attack stance but I then got up and stop her. Because I am familiar with this kind of energy.

When I was thinking what was happening with Melissa's body suddenly the system screen popped out from nowhere.

I am not sure what was it for but I want to reassurrect Melissa by any way possible. I just agreed to that system notice and suddenly I felt like my body is shattering in shards.

I was feeling quite a lot of pain as my level is falling down. I was yelling in pain my legs became jelly and I fell on my eyes. My soul energy is getting converted in golden aura and that aura covered my body and then started getting absorbed in Melissa's body.

"Karthik, stop doing this. You are hurting yourself by performing this forbidden art. stop it you can't sacrifice your soul to resurrect someone else." Isabella was trying to stop me but unable to come closer to me due to the offensive aura force emitting from my body. My level fell down by 210 levels in next half an hour of pain.

After my soul energy got absorbed into Melissa's body and her body started recovering again. Her body started reforming and it is like that her body is getting generated again.

I was unable to watch the full process of because I am feeling quite weak all of sudden. I can't even able to move my hand and soon I passed out over ground. I don't know what happened after it.

When I opened my eyes after getting recovered I was shocked by seeing surrounding. It was not like a forest or Hut or palace or a normal home. It is like a dark cave which is lighten by some wooden torches.

I then put my hand on bed to stand up but bed was feeling so soft just like a girl's breast, fully mature, well shaped, tight and big. I removed my hands from it and got up in panic.

"Who who are you?" But suddenly I felt like that now my hands were on same soft thing just that. I pressed it to confirm without seeing and my guess was correct. There was another girl on my right side.

I am now more panic so I came down from that bed made of rock. I can see two feminine figures in dark but unable to identify. I then took a torch from wall and try to identify them.

When I goes near first girl, I found she is Isabella who is sleeping like a girl without any worry and it strikes my head harder. How is this possible that she is sleeping so casually when our Melissa just died some hours ago.

After it I goes near another girl and that was completely a new face for me. She is sleeping like Melissa but she is completely different from her. But still she is sleeping like Melissa. I smiled because I thought she is Melissa but... It's not truth. I then check out my level and it was now only 30. But my body attributes still like before but my soul attributes was fallen by 88%

No need to think why I was feeling tired even after waking up. I then check my inventory to see some photos of Melissa but before I open my system screen that mysterious girl got up.

She rubs her eyes in childish way just like a child. She then lazily said "You are awake, wow, I want to sleep in my lap"

She just put her head in my lap and started sleeping. I was unable to think what's going on but I am feeling quite angry that time. I tried to use force on her but after seeing her Smile it reminds me of Melissa so I didn't disturbed her and let her sleep.
