MIYAMURA'S HEART

In Miyamura's house~

I was lying on my bed with my hands behind my head

'wasn't this around the time Miyamura showed his real face in the anime..'

"Well I prefer long hair..." I said while tying my hair in the back while a bang hung from each side of my face

I locked the door from outside..

Today is a Sunday so I've got a lot of free time on my hands....

'studying any further would just decrease the efficiency...'

"what should I do now." I started to wonder while walking around the usual sidewalk I take...

I went Inside a classic cafe, people looked at me pretty obivously

'well can't help it I'm just too handsome' I thought to myself with a little hidden smirk

"what would you like sir?" 

"Just a cup of coffee..., that's all" I said with a casual face

"right away" she said with a cheerful smile

'most people in the anime world are pretty nice' I thought not knowing the terrors of Tokyo ghoul.

a few tables away~

"Chika~, your boyfriend is coming right?" 

"yeah he'll be here in a few minutes, why don't we order something Maki" she said trying to stop her from running away

"why don't you say who he is already, I know he is from our school" Maki said while sulking

"I want it to be a surprise Maki, why don't you just wait"

back to MC~

"*SLURP*" I had a pleased look with my my eyes closed

'I have noticed that the food quality here is amazing' 

"hey Miyamura ! what are you doing here~~"

" You've grown up, man." he said as he looked at me with a slight smile

I looked around to see a guy with orange hair who wore an open jacket over a white t-shirt

'It's clearly Shindo, the only friend Miyamura had in middle school..' my eyes were in dismay..

"hey Miyamura why don't you join me, I'm meeting up with some friends" he pulled my hands as he said

*sigh*, 'lets just follow along, He is better than having no friends at all on a holiday '

we stopped before two girls chatting among themselves, I recognized one of them with just a glance

'Isn't that the girl from the wallet Incident.., well she wouldn't recognize me when even Hori wasn't able to recognize Miyamura in the anime'

"oh, you're here.." Chika said while looking at shindou....

"who is that guy?" Chika glanced at me

"he is a friend from Middle school I met after a long time here"

"nice to meet you I'm Chika, Shindou's girlfriend" she said while smiling 

"nice to meet you, Chika san" I said with a replied smile

Shindou was glad that I was changed, but he didn't show it much on his face

'I guess he considers himself Miyamura's guardian angel' I thought while evaluating his face

"he is Miyamura Izumi from katagiri high" Shindou said before I could continue

"huh?!" ,,Maki was weirded out

"do you know him Maki?" Chika asked while wondering curiously

'I should just stop the act'

"well " I untied my hair 

"do you remember me now?" I said as I looked away a little embarrassed from my hopeless act

she blushed while looking at my face and remembering things

"anyway, Nice to met you again Maki san" I tied my hair back

"nice to meet you aswell Miyamura san" she said as she maintained her composure still light red cheeks

We got pretty cozy as we talked about our schools, and about how I met Shindou,  I also came to know that their study wasn't soo diffrent from katagiri high its just that they had better timetable and more Importantly tests..

"see ya guys~" I said as I left the cafe 

"he is pretty Handsome Maki.." Chika said with a tease.

"well I'm off guys" Maki hurried trying to run from the awkward atmosphere

"I hope It turns out well..." Shindou said in a soft tone and a soft smile

2 days later~

"Kyouko Hori "

"yes~" Hori walked to the teacher and took the test results

.... after a few kids

"Miyamura Izumi"

"uh... Yes!" I closed my textbook and walked to Terajime sensei

"Great work, Miyamura. You got the top scores this time." she said with an appreciating smile

"thank you, Terajime sensei" , I had glint in my eyes with a really big smile 

'I got 98 huh, I can do better lets keep going at this pace~'

Everyone in the class was talking about how Miyamura was the new top of the class

"do you think he cheated Toru?" Yuki had a questioning face while gazing at Miyamura who was continuing to study even more

"I don't think he cheated, during the exam he wasn't even turning his head" Toru said while wondering

"well If you who just sneaks a peek at everyone during exams is saying that then I won't question it " she said in a teasing tone.

"I don't just sne....

It was their usual talk~

while hearing that Miyamura had gotten top score, Hori had a face that could burst up any second

"Hori, you'll get better marks next time don't get too upset" Yuki said trying to lift Hori

"yeah." Hori had a pale face

"starting tomorrow your summer vacations will start...."

*school bell*

I walked Towards the shoe locker

I saw Hori who was just walking out

"Hey, Hori san"

She looked back with a fake smile 

*drip* a tear drop rolled down a face

Then another hit the floor*plink*

Hori looked at me with her eyes wide open 

I touched my face which was the source of those tears

"here" Hori handed me a tissue

"What happened?" She asked me as she freaked out

I soon came back to my senses, like I just came out of water

"I don't know..." I wiped my tears 

"Let's go Miyamura, everyone already went " 

"Yeah sure.." I still didn't understand about what had happened there..

we walked as it made me remember Hori and Miyamura from anime, The only difference was I didn't wear that saggy sweater and maybe my face was still gloomy.

"Hey Miyamura?"

"yeah..."

"How did you suddenly get so good at studies"

"I just studied"

"And maybe my tricks...?"

"oh.... You must have some methods for studying...." Hori looked down

'It feels pretty suffocating, as if I have to do something right now' 

Miyamura's soul was slowly melting into mine which caused these changes in me.

before I could think, words escaped my heart

"I could help ....."

"you can!?" she looked lightened up

"ye-yeah, I mean I could teach you those tricks If you'd like" I said while embarrassed

"Thanks ,*wide heartfelt smile* how about you start tomorrow?" 

"I will" I had a smile that Hori saw for the first time

she blanked out while watching me smile and blushed when she noticed herself

'I don't know why but that suffocating feeling went away'

"maybe" I murmured to myself 

"what?"

"oh., nothing"

"yeaahh...?"

"you liar.." she Looked at me with a side eye

*sigh*"Anyway, how are you going to come to my house?"

"what?"

'Isn't this going the anime route!, I should be good as long as I keep my distance though... .. . *-_-*'

"I said., you don't know where I live..!"

"actually...., I do know where you live Hori san" 

"how?, I mean even Toru and Yuki don't know that yet..." she looked at me while touching her chin

"I once met your brother getting jumped by some dog's" I said with a casual face

she had the most weirded out face "Are you the cool nii san Souta was talking about. .. ... .... ....."

"I just might be that guy"

  'Souta has some weird tastes' Hori thought to herself

We parted ways because our homes were in the other directions from there

"wait Miyamura"*heavy breathing souds*

"what is it Hori san, did you forget something?" I looked with a questioning face

"My cellphone number..." *huff*"here you... go"

she ran back 

'maybe there is a sale in the supermarket or something..'

*click**click*

"done saving " I chuckled while remembering all that happened today

I went home after Helping out In the bakery

I was sitting on my chair while solving mock tests

After 2 hours~

"Arghh!!!"

"Its not working out" It was one of those times when I would be stuck at a problem 

"lets give it another try.."

'patience wins, yeah..'

After 23 more tries and 1 hour~

"did it" I had the highest sense of accomplishment and had a sound sleep afterwards....
