194 Chapter 6

(Well, I was right.) I muttered internally while shaking my head. (That took way too long...)

In fact the three of them had talked my ear off for around four hours before I was able to escape, not that I really minded it but I had other things to do you know. Anyway, they had shown me quite a lot, for example they had this amazing idea to create these security pillars or whatever you want to call them. Basically they would detect if someone was committing a crime close by or not, if they did indeed sense such a thing happening close to them they would then shoot out some kind of magical device that wrapped around the person in question and restraines them.

As for what I was doing right now, well, I was debating with myself as to if I should go back to my secret lab and get back to work or just continue working around while looking for something to do. Despite this dilemma however, I had also checked in with my clones who had started work on the rift gate awhile ago, honestly it was coming along rather nicely all things considered.

(Oh well, I got some useful information out of it so whatever I guess.) I hummed in thought. (Anyway, what should I do now I wonder, I mean I still have to go and give a certain giant island a name, however before that is there anything else I need to do?)

Taking a second to just think on that I eventually remembered something. (I suppose I could get in touch with Poe, he did mention before that he had something for me after all.) Before I could act on that however someone called out to me.

"Lady Suu!"

"Hmmm?" Turning to the source of the voice I barely had time to react before a blur of movement slammed into my torso and caused me to stumble backwards a little in surprise.

"I found you!" Yin yelped happily as she wrapped her arms around my sides while looking up at me with a smile.

Before I could even get out a response to this sudden show of affection Yang ran up and huffed in annoyance at her twin. "Yin, leave lady Suu alone."

"No." Was Yin's only response.

(These two...) I chuckled to myself as they started bickering.

"It's fine Yang." I said, waving off her concerns. "Anyway, mind telling me why you decided to ambush me like that Yin."

"Because I wanted to hug you and you were right there, so I came over and hugged you." She explained proudly before seeming to remember something. "The horsey wanted to hug you as well."

"Horsey?" I was somewhat confused by that, at least until I noticed a familiar set of faces walking towards us. "Oh, you three."

The beings in question were of course the three headed horse like creature that I had created not too long ago, of course said entity was actually a Kelpie of the abyssal variety. Additionally each head had a different name, a fact that surprised me considering I didn't know previously that I could give multiple names to one being, even the said being if they have multiple consciousnesses. Anyway though, beside their somewhat grim and rotten appearance their names were Agony, Treachery and finally Demise.

Honestly I had kind of forgotten about them if I was being honest, a fact that did make me feel a little guilty. Thankfully however, it doesn't appear that they held a grudge or even cared much about the fact considering that their emotional state was rather calm all things considered.

"Good to see you again, are you settling in well?" I hummed while reaching out and patting their heads one after the other.

In response the three of them released a somewhat odd sounding gurgling noise. For a normal person with no special skills or abilities they wouldn't be able to understand them at all no matter how hard they tried, although that wasn't the case for me however. Possibly because of my connection with them I was able to get the gist of what they were saying relatively easily.

"I see, that's good." I mused with a soft smile on my face.

"Sorry I haven't really interacted with you all that much, I've been rather busy with various things." I apologized but their response made it obvious that they didn't mind at all. "Thanks for your understanding I suppose."

With that out of the way I turned back to the twins and asked. "So then, how exactly did the five of you meet?"

"We met yesterday when they stumbled across us while we were playing with some of the hobgoblin children." Yang explained with a slight shrug.

"They gave us piggyback rides."  Yin announced happily.

"I see."

(A three headed monster horse that has a motherly instinct towards children...I gotta admit I didn't see that one coming.) I thought with a slight shake of my head.

"So what are you doing right now lady Suu?" Yang asked with a cute tilt of her head.

"Well, I was just about to head over an-" before I could finish that sentence I suddenly felt a presence as one of my clones appeared next to me. "C12? What are you doing here?"

C12 was one of the clones that I had put in charge of monitoring the surrounding areas of Tempest, just in case you know. I mean, sure, I was obviously being paranoid but at this point Tempest had become a bloody magnet that seemed to only attract trouble, so can you really blame me for trying to put in some precautions.

"I have some information you may want to hear." C12 explained catching my interest but before I could ask someone spoke up first.

"Oh my god!" Yin yelled in excitement. "There are two lady Suus now? This is the best day ever."

"They're a clone Yin..." Yang sighted.

"I knew that!"

(So cute.) Was my only thought at the sight before I turned my attention back to C12.

"So then, what's going on?"

"You know how this place is basically a magnet for trouble at this point?" She asks, causing me to grumble in annoyance.

"Explain."

My clone seemed to hesitate for a second before answering. "We have an issue..."

"What is it now?" I hissed in frustration.

"Geld, Kuro and some of the road workers were attacked." She was rather quick to give me an answer.

"By who exactly?" I growled, hostility clear in my voice as I spoke, a fact that Agony, Treachery and Demise picked up on.

"Apparently it was someone from Benimaru's old village." C12 shrugged, sounding just as puzzled as I was currently feeling.

"What?"

(A/N. Sorry that this one is a little shorter then usual, I'm currently far too tired to try and make it longer right now.)
