The Miserable Pope

Mu En looked at the busy Bear Lord who did not even hear him.

Mu En just sighed and his demon claw appeared. He went forward and he pulled the Bear Lord towards him. The Bear Lord was surprised that someone was here. He was even more surprised that this being who looked like a human was able to move him so easily.

He opened his mouth and growled as he tried to eat this human.

But Mu En was not fazed. Mu En knew he had to hurry. He was no match for the Bear Lord if it was a life and death battle. So Mu En directly generated thunder as he used 90% of his soul power to induce a lightning tribulation level lightning and threw it inside the Bear Lord mouth.

"HUH!"

The Bear Lord wanted to speak but the lightning he had swallowed showed its effect. He fell as he tried to contain that but alas his body was not strong enough from the inside. While the body of his looked perfectly fine, but, the internal body had become non-existent.

Mu En used his devour skill and directly made the ring of the Bear Lord his soul ring. The energy was vast but due to the effect of his skill, he did not have to worry about any kind of backlash.

But something surprised him. He looked at the two shining bones lying in front of him.

These were spirit bones!

And Bear Lord generated two of those. Mu En was happy and fused with that directly. Again, due to his devour skill no backlash was suffered. As Mu En saw the two dark golden claw coming from his finger he was ecstatic.

Then he made his presence known to the people of 'his' territory.

" The subjects of Bear Lord. I am Mu En. A fellow spirit beast like you and as I had an enmity with the Bear Lord for killing my people, I killed him and from today, I will be the ruler of you all."

And of course, Mu En said that in his Demon Form and released his aura to let all know.

In the deep core of the Star Dou Forest,

A being in black looked towards the direction of Mu En and mumbled.

Di Tian: " Finally that Bear is dead. At the least, I didn't have to kill him. Thankfully, a fellow spirit beast killed him. Hmm, he would take the Bear Lord's place in our meetings in the future."

Mu En changed into his human form as he looked on to the Dark Gold Dread Claw Bear Clan members.

He was ready to eradicate them if they were rebellious but surprisingly, they were very tame. As they knew the Bear Lord was killed without much effort, they knew that there was no need to try and find how strong Mu En himself was.

Mu En just assigned them the heavy lifting work. He knew the beasts here were not in a very good condition, so he decided he needed to do something. From the knowledge he had of the Bear Lord, Di Tian was not so protective of the spirit beast as he was in the future.

Of course, he despised humans but he did not go too far for his fellow spirit beasts so there was not much difference in the territory of other spirit beasts. The only exception was the kind spirit beast, Bi Ji.

Her territory was the most prosperous. And naturally, he knew how much of a dickhead the Bear Lord was and his territory was the worst of them all. Bear Lord ruled with an Ironfist and was the worst of all the leaders.

And there were frequent wars inside his territory as well. Mu En thought that to at least make the life of these spirit beast peaceful, he needed to eradicate all of these repulsive beasts but to have the others comply he decided to use one of the slots for the skill.

He needed to find Bi Ji for that.

He decided to take her healing skill.

He had already thought about the skills he would take for those remaining three skills. He knew that those slots were only for the beings he would not kill. Two of those beasts were not very hard to find but the third one was a bit difficult.

But first, he decided to take Bi Ji's skill. He was sure that a pure soul like her would understand his intentions. Even before that, he brought his family to the territory and left to find her.

In the Spirit Hall,

Six people were sitting in a big round table. They were in a very heated discussion.

Gui Mei, Yue Guan, Yu Long, Ci Xue, Qian Jun, and Jiang Long were those six people. They were the six highest-ranking people in the Spirit Hall after the Supreme Pontiff but they had too much influence in the Spirit Hall.

So much that if they wanted, they could even dispose of the Supreme Pontiff/Pope.

And that was exactly what was happening now. They knew what had happened to the Pope. His being defeated was not a subject of concern but the concern was about the fact that the Pope was no more...a man.

The whole Spirit Empire knew the news by now and it was only time before the whole continent knew about it. It was a great blow to the image of the Spirit Hall, so, they unanimously decided to get the Pope to relinquish his position.

Suddenly, the door behind them opened slowly.

From there, an old man walked in. He looked at all those Elders as if he was looking at some pests and said.

" Conspiring against the son of the creator of the Spirit Hall himself, are.. you?"

The Elders hurriedly got up as they tried to refute his word.

" SILENCE!"

One word was enough to quiet down the Elders who were acting like a 5-year-old kid who had his candy snatched.

" I know about the misfortune too. And the greatest regret is that he has no wife. So what you all will be doing is finding all the prostitutes he has ever slept with and check if any of them are pregnant with his kid, UNDERSTAND!"

"..But what about the position of Pope, Grand Priest."

" I will appoint Bibi Dong as the next Pope myself. So what you all will be doing is groom the new Supreme Pontiff as soon as possible."

" YES SIR!"

Qian Daoliu nodded his head. If his son had only lost his manhood, he would not have changed his position but he found out that Qian Xunji was crippled too. He could not leave the spirit hall at a time like this but he was determined to kill those people someday.

On the other side of the Spirit Hall,

Bibi Dong had spent the past week spending her time with her love, Yu Xiaogang. She did not know about what had happened to her master. But he had suddenly called her today.

She opened the door as she looked at her Master. She greeted her Master. But he asked something she never expected.

" You are in love with that trash of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Clan, aren't you?"

Bibi Dong did not deny it but also made things clear.

" Yes, Master. I do love him. And I hope you will give us your blessing. I will do anything to be with him."

"NO! You are the heir to lead the Spirit Hall while he is a TRASH!"

" No Master, I will always love him. I am leaving Spirit Hall! I don't want to be here anymore!"

Bibi Dong turned around to leave but a chop from the Pope made her faint.

" Then I can only do this."

The Pope said with a sly smile as he put Bibi Dong on his bed.

He took off his cloth as he got ready to act. But when he kneeled on her his eyes fell on his little man who had been cut off before. His face got ugly as he remembered that he had been castrated before.
