Embrace Spider

Little Blue looked at the retreating figure of Mu En and Xiao Ya. Looking at Xiao Ya leaving so happily it felt kinda depressing to him. He started to feel existential crisis.

' I-I can feel it..I can listen...my reason for existence of making Xiao Ya enjoying playing...BREAKING APART!!'

Looking at the black clouds far away from him, Mu En sighed a bit. It would be good if he flies there but Xiao Ya surprisingly had Airsickness. It was the worst possible sickness one could have at a time like this.

Mu En looked at the vomiting Xiao Ya and supplied a bit of his life energy to make her feel good.

Xiao Ya: " AIOO! Which demon cursed me? I can't even take the joy of flying."

Xiao Ya then turned around and looked at her Grandpa pitifully, trying to make her agree.

Xiao Ya: " Granpa, I wanna...go home. PLEASE!"

When Mu En heard that word, he felt a headache. It was one massive problem that parents had to face. Mu En could do nothing about it.

Mu En: " Xiao Ya, we cannot return now. We are too far away from home. So we will just walk toward the destination I am trying to reach."

Xiao Ya hung her long ears down as she covered her eyes with them.

Xiao Ya: " Granpa...I know a spirit beast around this place. We are near the outer region and I felt..Xiao Wu's signature before. We can just go to her and I will live with her until you come back... how about that?"

Mu En looked at the pleading Xiao Ya and decided in his heart.

Mu En: " Fine, show me the direction. I will take you there."

Mu En had to also ensure that Xiao Wu was like in the novel. If she was kinda evil, he won't leave Xiao Ya there.

After a few hours, they reached a small hut. Mu En was a bit surprised when he saw that hut. It was something that a spirit beast would not build.

But Xiao Ya had no such suspicion at all.

Xiao Ya: " Xiao Wu, it is me Xiao Ya remember? If you are in there, please come outside."

Just as her voice sounds an equally identical rabbit came out of the hut. The only difference was that Xiao Ya did not have the symbol of love in her forehead.

Mu En also sighed an air of relief when he felt that Xiao Wu did not give him any evil feeling.

Xiao Wu looked at the big spider Xiao Ya was sitting on. Xiao Wu got a bit scared when she saw a man faced demon spider.

Even though she was nearly a hundred thousand beast, she still could not see the strength of the other party, so she thought that the spider must be a hundred thousand years old.

Xiao Wu: " Xiao Ya, is..that your Granpa?"

Xiao Ya nodded at Xiao Wu indicating that she was correct.

Xiao Ya: " Yes, he is my Granpa. He might look a bit scary but he is very kind."

Xiao Wu looked a bit hesitant but then she agreed.

Xiao Wu: " Okay..then how come you are here?"

Xiao Ya ears perked up as she finally got the question she wanted to be asked.

Xiao Ya: " Well, you see my Granpa goes to cultivate in the inner regions once in a while and this time I asked to go with him. But I only ended up holding him back so I decided to be with you until he comes back."

Xiao Wu's eyes screamed pain as she heard the name of the 'inner region'. She started to act a bit..aggressive.

Xiao Wu: " No No, you should not go to the inside region. Nobody comes back from there. That's a GRAVEYARD."

Seeing the aggressiveness Xiao Wu was showing, Mu En felt a prick on his heart. He could not bear to see a child like that. So he strode forward as took Xiao Wu into his warm embrace.

Mu En: " You...have been through a lot..haven't you, my child?"

Xiao Wu could not hold back herself when she felt the love and the warm embrace of another after ten thousand years. She started wailing, letting go of all the pain, loneliness, and fear she felt all those years.

Xiao Wu: " WAHH! Mother!"

Mu En said nothing as he kept embracing her. Xiao Ya looked a bit guilty, though she did not understand what was going on, she felt she should not have brought the topic.

Mu En also noticed the expression on Xiao Ya's face. He then just patted her as he shook his head indicating she did nothing wrong.

But Xiao Ya looked a bit confused as she asked.

Xiao Ya: " Ah? What do you mean by shaking your head, Granpa?..I-I don't understand!"

Mu En slapped his own head in disdain as he thought.

' Who am I even trying to get to understand this emotional atmosphere!'

(A/N: you may think it's repetitive but this thing happening will be a long time from now. not happening any time soon.)

On the other side of the Star Dou Forest,

Little Blue was continuing him the episode of the series, " Thinking About Xiao Ya And Getting Depressed", when he suddenly felt a presence in the vicinity.

Little Blue was alerted in an instant but when he felt the energy signature of the being he was trembling with excitement.

He could not speak without stuttering due to it.

Little Blue: " El-Elder Sister!"
