Just as Goldy whispered the word, Joseph and Goldy both felt a chill on their back.

" What is this?"

Joseph was surprised and cautious. After being in this for such a long time, he had come to terms with how it worked.

Seeing Goldy by his side whose body was frozen for a second, Joseph knew that it was someone incredibly strong.

' Just who could it be?'

Goldy shook his head and murmured, " And I thought I finally had some free time for myself..."

Joseph turned his head to look at Goldy and asked " What? What are you saying?"

Goldy blinked, he turned his head to look at Joseph and said with a sigh " It's Di Tian."

Joseph blinked in surprise and asked with a confused tone " Di Tian...who?"

Of course, he knew who Di Tian was but he couldn't say to Goldy that he knew him long ago by reading a book.

In these years, Goldy never once mentioned Di Tian's name, probably because he didn't like Di Tian very much who seemed to limit his movements very much.

Goldy blinked and asked with surprise " You don't know who Di Tian is?"

Joseph spread his limbs apart and said " Am I supposed to know? Just who is this Di Tian?"

" Oh right, I never told you about him."

" Mind telling me?"

" Um...he is kind of a boss of this forest."

" Oh!" Joseph seemed fascinated hearing Goldy.

" But he is a very bad boss! Don't admire him, he limits my freedom very much! I lost so many chances of getting a friend because of him!"

Joseph chuckled hearing Goldy.

' Looks like Goldy hates Di Tian very much.'

" Why does he do that though?"

" You know I am the Three-Eyed Golden Lion and I am the most important part of this forest. I have the power of destiny. Just my presence helps the beasts of this forest cultivate at a much faster speed."

Joseph laughed and said " Wow! Are you that important for this forest?"

Goldy nodded his head and said " Yes. If it was not for me this forest would have grown so much in these years."

Joseph calmed himself down and said " I understand where Di Tian is coming from. But it is wrong to limit your movements like this. It is very cruel!"

Goldy hummed and said, " I expected no less from my friend!"

Joseph sat down and asked, " So what did Di Tian do for us to feel that chill?"

" He is calling for me."

Joseph was confused hearing that.

" If he is calling for you, why did I feel the chill? By what you said, that should be a form of communication between you and Di Tian, no?"

Goldy shook his head and said " You were not the only one in the forest to feel that chill. Every beast in this forest felt it."

" Why?"

" He is just flexing his power."

Joseph was speechless hearing that.

" Is there even a need to?"

" Yes...after all, we spirit beasts live for a long time and we tend to forget very easily. This is just Di Tian reminding them that he is still the one who calls the shots here."

" That sounds so unnecessary..."

" Right? I mean just kill some beast and make an example out of them and they won't forget it for at least a thousand years. Seems so less work than sending a warning every 5 6 years."

Joseph took a deep breath, be ignored Goldy and said " So what will you do?"

Goldy looked as if he was about to cry as he spoke " I- need to go..."

He choked on his word.

Joseph gave a tired smile and said " Dont worry man! You will be fine. How about I come with you?"

Goldy shook his head and said " No! You should not come. You will be overwhelmed by the auras of those strong beasts. I wouldn't want to see you all defeated in front of them."

Joseph exhaled deeply and said " Then...There is no choice. I hope you come back soon man."

Goldy nodded and said " Hm...I will try to come back as soon as possible..."

Joseph then suddenly asked Goldy " When will you come back? "

" It will take me a few years. Every time he calls me... it's either about helping him breakthrough or some other beast he thinks are important for the forest or the worst reason...he wants me to cultivate!"

" That's unfortunate..."

Goldy hated cultivating so Joseph could understand where he was coming from.

Goldy waved his tail and said " Then...I will see you in a few years...take care!"

Joseph nodded and asked, " How will you find me though?"

" I have left my spiritual imprint in you. I will be able to find you no matter where you are."

Joseph nodded. What Goldy said was feasible after all he was one of the strongest spiritual beasts in the world if not the best in the spiritual category just behind the Silver Dragon King.

" Then...I will see you later Goldy!"

" I will miss you, bro!"

" I will too bro!"

" Broo!"

" My Broo!"

After Goldy left Joseph found himself very bored. He had nothing to do.

He stayed in the outer parts of the forest and he didn't have any beast that could match him.

He met a few humans but unfortunately, he had to kill them after all they were trying to hunt him.

Joseph sat inside a cave he found not too long ago and thought

' I guess I will go and find that Beautiful Silk Tulip that I wanted to get my hands on all those years ago.'

Deciding that he would travel to get the herb to eat, Joseph got up and walked out of the cave.

' This is going to be a long journey...'
